Penzance trio to play Last Post for Remembrance
BBCThree members of a silver band are preparing for a very special performance on Remembrance Sunday.
It will be the first time three trumpeters have come together to play The Last Post in Penzance, Cornwall, and there has been a special effort to make it a multi-generational affair.
Arthur, who is 15, Yves Giebens, 53, and Gwyn Williams, 77, have all been rehearsing hard to make sure they are note perfect.
The youngest member of the trio from Penzance Silver Band said: "I think it appeals to all generations because we all feel grief and remorse for World War One and World War Two."

Sunday's performance will have extra poignancy for the oldest member of the trio, Gwyn Williams.
"My grandfather fought at the Somme and survived, and my father was in the Royal Air Force and survived, so it will be a special moment I think," he said.
Asked about the technical challenge of the Last Post, Giebens said: "As a standalone piece it's okay but if you have just played three marches, marching down Chapel Street, then it gets a bit heavy on your embouchure.
"It's not that difficult but it's the whole day.
"We have already played and we have to play again, which can make it a bit hard and tricky."
Sunday's service will be led by Rev Jacky Wise of Penlee Cluster at the War Memorial at Battery Rocks in Penzance.
The Cornish language will feature with translated prayers read by the Mayor of Penzance Andy Law.
On Armistice Day - Wednesday 11th November - Penzance's two-minute silence will be observed at 011:00 GMT at the Memorial Gardens in Penlee Park.
