Woman, 80, hit by car and dies at supermarket

An 80-year-old woman has died after she was hit by a car in a supermarket car park.

Police were called just after 12:00 BST to a report of a grey Kia Soul colliding with two pedestrians and several other parked and moving vehicles in the Morrisons car park on Walpole Road in Gosport, Hampshire.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene and a second pedestrian had minor injuries.

Hampshire Police said it would like to speak to any witnesses and anyone with relevant dash cam footage.
