A record number of runners have taken part in the 15th edition of the Oxford Half Marathon.

Around 15,000 runners took to the streets, raising £1.3m for official charity partners, organisers said.

Alex Miell-Ingram, from Oxfordshire, was the first finisher in a time of 1 hour, 7 minutes and 22 seconds, having only previously finished in second, third or fourth place.

Charlie Arnell won the women's race for the second year running, in a time of 1 hour, 14 minutes and 27 seconds.
