Family pay tribute to 'lovely dad' found dead
Shariqua Ahmed/BBCPolice have named a man found dead on a residential street in Peterborough.
The body of Anthony Daniel Pridmore, 64, of Dogsthorpe, was discovered in Campion Road on Monday morning. Cambridgeshire Police was called to the scene at about 07:15 BST.
Officers said his death was being treated as suspicious.
In a statement, Pridmore's family described him as a "lovely dad" who would be missed.
Police said a post-mortem examination carried out on Wednesday was unable to establish a cause of death and inquiries were continuing.
Residents living near Campion Road and Broom Close said they were "shocked" and "saddened" by the discovery.
Paul Johnson, who lives nearby, said it was "daunting" to see a large police presence in the area, while another resident said she had been left "shaken up" by the incident.
Anyone with information, including CCTV footage, is asked to contact police.
