Engineers are at the scene of a burst water main on the A47 near Peterborough.

Anglian Water said it was working on Thorney Hill to repair the pipe.

A spokesperson said: "We will continue to keep the situation under review and work to minimise any impact on traffic and customers' water supplies."

Cambridgeshire Police is asking motorists to drive carefully as there is standing water on the road, although it remains open.
