'I'm dripping blood', train victim tells 999

The audio recording of a 999 call made by a man who was stabbed in the head on a train has been played to a jury.

It was heard in the trial of Anthony Williams, 33, who denies the attempted murder of 10 train passengers and staff on a London-bound train on 1 November last year.

In the call, Scott Bletcher, who was travelling home after Christmas shopping in Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire, described Williams as "berserk", before telling the operator he was "dripping blood".

Cambridge Crown Court has been told there is no dispute Williams carried out the attacks, but they must decide whether he intended to kill. The trial continues.
