A baby girl who died while camping with her family has been named by police.

Lacey May Oxford, who was three months old, was pronounced dead at the scene in woodlands near Cheslyn Hay, Staffordshire, on 5 September.

Emergency services were called to an area near a fishing lake off Strawberry Lane to reports of a child in cardiac arrest at around 08:45 BST.

Four people - a 42-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman from south Staffordshire, a 20-year-old woman from Wolverhampton and an 18-year-old man from Walsall - were previously arrested on suspicion of murder. All four remain on conditional bail.

Officers had cordoned off an area near a fishing lake where two tents had been pitched.

The woodland, within Wyrley and Essington Branch Canal Local Nature Reserve, is not an official camping site but locals said people would often stay overnight to fish in the pools.
