Teen charged with murder after council HQ stabbing

A 15-year-old boy has appeared in court charged with murder after a teenager was stabbed to death at a council headquarters in north-west London.

David Wynter, 17, suffered fatal injuries after he was stabbed at Brent Civic Centre on Engineers Way, Wembley, shortly before 2:30 BST on Tuesday, the Metropolitan Police previously said.

The 15-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Willesden Magistrates' Court on Thursday charged with murder and possession of a blade in a public place.

He spoke only to confirm his name, address and date of birth and was remanded in custody. The case was sent to the Old Bailey.
