Part of A14 closed after crash

Part of the A14 in Suffolk has been closed due to a lorry crash.

Suffolk Police were called to reports of a collision between a van and an HGV near Needham Market at 07:05 BST. One person in the van was taken to hospital.

The dual carriageway was closed eastbound between junction 51 for Needham Market and junction 52 for Claydon.

Police, fire and ambulance services were sent to the scene and National Highways said there were delays of more than an hour on the approach, with traffic being diverted through Barham and Claydon.
