Attempted murder arrest as man found badly burnt
GoogleA man was has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was hospitalised with life-threatening burn injuries.
South Yorkshire Police were called to reports of an injured man on Warmsworth Road in Doncaster at 23:35 BST on Tuesday.
He was taken to hospital by the ambulance service where he remains in a serious condition.
A 41-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempt murder. An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. Both remain in custody, police said.
Officers said inquiries were moving "at pace" and appealed for anyone with information to get in touch.
