Girl, 13, in hospital after being struck by car

A 13-year-old girl remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries after being struck by a car in Derbyshire.

Emergency services were called to Station Road, Hatton, just after 20:50 BST on Saturday, after the girl - who was a pedestrian - was hit by the vehicle, a Toyota Aygo.

A Derbyshire Police spokesperson said the teenager had suffered "life-threatening injuries" and was taken to hospital.

No arrests have been made, the force added, and investigations are ongoing.
