Man dies in house fire in Horsham

A man has died in a house fire in a West Sussex town, police have said.

Emergency services were called to the blaze on Littlehaven Lane, in Horsham, at about 07:30 BST.

West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service sent six fire engines, plus an aerial ladder platform to the scene.

A man was found dead inside the property, Sussex Police said. His next of kin have been informed.

An investigation has been launched into the cause of the fire.
