A man has appeared in court charged with money laundering and other alleged offences linked to crimes committed by a couple who drugged men seeking sexual services.

Calin Tudorache, 21, of New Barns Avenue, Mitcham, has been charged with three offences under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002.

They relate to the crimes of Adina Mihai and Madlin Dumitru, who were each jailed for 17 years in August for the manslaughter of two men and the poisoning of two others.

Tudorache indicated not guilty pleas to the three charges at High Wycombe Magistrates' Court.

He is due to appear at Oxford Crown Court on 12 November for a plea and trial preparation hearing.

Tudorache is charged with two counts of concealing criminal property/money laundering in relation to incidents between 1 January 2025 and 31 December 2025.

He is also charged with one count of entering into/becoming concerned in an arrangement that facilitated the acquisition, retention, use or control of criminal property between 1 January 2025 and 31 July 2025.

Thames Valley Police said the charges are in connection with incidents where the proceeds of criminal conduct were transferred into bank accounts, held by Tudorache.
