A major online marketplace has apologised to customers after confirming it has paused deliveries to the Channel Islands.

Not On The High Street (NOTHS) said it made the "difficult decision" after "recent updates to international shipping and customs regulations".

A spokesperson added the retailer would "actively work to find a viable long-term resolution as soon as possible".

Those impacted by the change are encouraged to reach out to the customer service team via its website support hub. NOTHS&More members in the region were also eligible for a full membership refund, they said.

A spokesperson for the company said: "Following recent updates to international shipping and customs regulations, we have made the difficult decision to pause deliveries to the Channel Islands for the time being.

"As a marketplace for thousands of independent small businesses, navigating these complex requirements risks creating delays and unexpected customs fees for our customers."

They added: "Rather than compromise on the level of service we are able to provide, we have paused shipping while we actively work to find a viable long-term resolution as soon as possible.

"We sincerely apologise to our customers in the Channel Islands for any disappointment this may cause. "
