Search for dog owner as man injured at Pride event

A man has been left with serious injuries after he was bitten by a dog at Doncaster Pride.

Police said the man was at the event on Town Field on Thorne Road on 8 August, when he approached the owner of the dog and asked to stroke it.

The owner agreed, but the dog, thought to be a Carpathian Shepherd called Bonnie, bit the victim's arm causing serious injuries.

South Yorkshire Police has appealed for the owner to contact them. She is said to be a a woman in her 30s with dark brown hair, and was wearing a white top and pink hat.
