Two teenage boys who were arrested in connection with a fire that destroyed several businesses, have been released under investigation.

Avon Fire and Rescue Service was called to a fire at Locking Farm Industrial Estate in Weston-super-Mare at 03:03 BST on Tuesday. Avon and Somerset Police launched an investigation and found the cause was likely deliberate.

A boy, in his mid-teens, has been arrested on suspicion of arson and another boy, also in his mid-teens, has been arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life.

Both have been released under investigation while enquiries continue, said police.

The force said no one was injured in the fire but a man who manages the business units on the site said it was a "tragedy" for the businesses that have been destroyed.
