A driver and passenger were taken to hospital after a car overturned northbound on the A3, closing two lanes.

Surrey Police was called to the scene near Ockham at about 10:50 BST, following a report of a single vehicle collision.

Advising motorists to prepare for delays, the force said two people had been "safely recovered from the vehicle and have been taken to hospital for medical treatment".

The road has now fully reopened, but traffic was previously seen queuing for about two miles.
