Part of the A14 closed after lorry hits bridge

Part of the A14 has been shut in Northamptonshire after a collision involving two lorries, one of which struck a bridge.

National Highways said all traffic between junctions eight and nine, near Kettering, was being held.

All emergency services have been called to the scene.

"Motorists are advised to avoid the area for the time being," Northamptonshire Police said.
