Two charged after women report sexual assaults
BBCA man and a woman have been charged after two women reported sexual assaults at a property in Mayfair.
Vijay Aggarwal, 57, of Brick Street, Mayfair, was charged with four counts of sexual assault, the Metropolitan Police said.
Manpreet Kaur, 41, also of Brick Street, was charged with two counts of intentionally encouraging or assisting the commission of an either-way offence, namely sexual assault.
Both defendants appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court on 13 August and were remanded in custody to appear at Southwark Crown Court on 10 September.
The alleged sexual assaults were said to have taken place at a property in Brick Street, Mayfair, on 26 May and 9 August.
Officers attended the address on 11 August, when Aggarwal and Kaur were arrested in connection with the allegations.
A 23-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman were also arrested on 11 August in connection with the investigation. They have since been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Two women who reported the alleged sexual assaults are being supported by specialist officers, the Met said.
