  1. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:20 BST 20 October

    Notts County 0-0 Sheff Wed

A yellow card apiece now as Luka Smyth tugs on the shirt of Callum Slattery as he breaks forward.

    An obvious yellow.

  2. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:19 BST 20 October

    Bromley 0-2 Leicester

    How is it not 3-0?

Grant Smith pulls off a wonderful save with his fingertips to deny Luke Thomas who was clean through on goal. It loops up invitingly for Emil Riis to head towards goal but it loops down on to the angle of post and bar and Smith swats it away.

    Bromley living dangerously.

  3. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:16 BST 20 October

    Bristol Rovers 0-2 Salford

Salford midfielder Elliot Bonds is the first player to go into the book at the Memorial Stadium.

Bonds did not retreat when Shaq Forde looked to take a free-kick quickly in the centre circle and, once Forde kicked the ball at Bonds' legs, that was enough to prompt the referee to go for his card.

Salford remain, though, in control in the West Country half an hour into this fixture.

  4. League One latestpublished at 20:16 BST 20 October

    A couple of quickfire doubles!

After setting up Stevenage's opener, Josh Magennis has put Boro 2-0 up against Plymouth.

And Mansfield's Michael Smith is enjoying himself at Wimbledon, adding his second goal in five minutes to put the Stags in control.

Bristol Rovers v Salford. Tasty. I don't envy the fourth official. Think the spotlight will be on Steve Evans tonight.

    Tony Horton, Cheshire

  6. Postpublished at 20:16 BST 20 October

    Bromley 0-2 Leicester

Kamari Doyle pounces on a loose clearance and tries to thread a ball through the defence for a blue shirt, it's cut-out but pops back to the Brighton loanee who bends a shot from the edge of the D but it's too close to Grant Smith who holds on flopping to his left.

  7. 'Notts look the more likely'published at 20:15 BST 20 October

    Notts County 0-0 Sheff Wed

    Andy Giddings
    BBC Radio Sheffield commentator

The Owls are still yet to test the keeper so far.

Notts County are looking the more likely of the two.

  8. Lifeline for the Exilespublished at 20:15 BST 20 October

    Rotherham United 2-1 Newport County

    Ian Mitchelmore
BBC Sport Wales at AESSEAL New York Stadium, Rotherham

Michael Adu-Poku goes down under contact from Hamish Douglas, and the referee awards Newport a penalty.

Harrison Biggins steps up to take it... and he smashes it into the bottom left corner, despite goalkeeper Julian Eyestone almost getting a strong hand to it. Goal number three of the season for him.

    Game on!

That's certainly lifted the away supporters.

'Hayden Mullins' Amber Army' is the chant being heard now.

  9. League Two updatepublished at 20:14 BST 20 October

The goals are flying in around League Two this evening.

Cheltenham lead 2-0 on home soil against Fleetwood Town, who gave their hosts a leg up to begin with when goalkeeper Jay Lynch put through his own net. The Robins have since doubled that advantage through Leicester loanee Kirsten Otchere.

It is a similar story for Walsall, who have scored twice in the space of five minutes and have themselves a cushion at home to Oldham thanks to Tai Sodje and Aaron Pressley.

Anthony Scully has put Exeter in front from the penalty spot, meanwhile, against unbeaten Crewe.

  10. Postpublished at 20:14 BST 20 October

    Notts County 0-0 Sheff Wed

Davis Keillor-Dunn scored a couple at the weekend but his radar is off with that shot that balloons over the bar.

The Owls have not had too many openings so far and have not tested Magpies keeper James Belshaw yet.

Home boss Martin Paterson will be pleased with how things have gone so far.

  11. CLOSE!published at 20:13 BST 20 October

    Bromley 0-2 Leicester

Alex McCarthy has his palms warmed again, this time by a quickfire shot from Victor Adeboyejo from outside the box, but it's lacking real venom.

Down the other end and Emil Riis is left in acres of space at the back post from a corner, but he slips as he puts his foot through a left-foot volley and it flashes high and wide across the face of goal from only eight yards out. Good chance for a third.

John Lundstram has been a great signing for the Foxes. Finally we are building some momentum. Leicester need to make the play-offs as a minimum this season.

    George, Birmingham

  13. League One latestpublished at 20:12 BST 20 October

Michael Mellon has thumped Stevenage in front against Plymouth Argyle. Josh Magennis was the architect.

Elsewhere, Wimbledon are a goal down at home to Mansfield with former Owl Michael Smith finding the opener in the capital.

  14. Postpublished at 20:11 BST 20 October

    Huddersfield 1-0 Peterborough

Ilias Bronkhorst might have had a second, having opened his account for the club mere moments ago.

Derensili Sanches Fernandes tees him up but his tight-footed effort from the middle of the box flies over Alex Bass' bar.

  15. Postpublished at 20:08 BST 20 October

    Huddersfield 1-0 Peterborough

Town have begun the better but Posh have had some moments too and after good work from Brandon Khela, Vernon Masara has seen a shot from the edge of the box well charged-down.

  16. CLOSE!published at 20:08 BST 20 October

    Notts County 0-0 Sheff Wed

Ooh, it should be 1-0 to Notts County!

Nick Tsaroulla unlocks the Owls backline with a brilliant reverse pass to set Conor Grant clear on goal but his clipped finish misses the target.

Best chance of the match by far and he will feel he should have done better.

Notts County are playing some nice stuff though.

  17. goal

GOAL: Bristol Rovers 0-2 Salfordpublished at 20:06 BST 20 October

    Dan Udoh (20 mins)

Salford double their lead at the Mem!

They deserve this cushion, too, having played with all the assurance of a side who have won their previous five.

This goal, like the first, comes from down the Ammies' right hand side through Luke Molyneux. Having worked the ball through the lines, Molyneux then zips a ball to the near post and Dan Udoh beats his man and squeezes the ball beyond Brad Young.

What a way to reward your manager for recalling you to the starting XI.

  18. Postpublished at 20:06 BST 20 October

    Bromley 0-2 Leicester

George Saville is tripped just outside the box by Luke Thomas and it's a very dangerous free-kick opportunity.

JJ McKiernan strikes it with his right peg but it curls back towards the middle of the goal and it's routine for Alex McCarthy.

  19. 'Such a positive start'published at 20:04 BST 20 October

    Bromley 0-2 Leicester

    Matt Heath
Former Foxes defender on BBC Radio Leicester

It's really important we keep the 2-0 lead.

Bromley can be dangerous from set-piece situations so we just need to be wary of that.

It's such a positive start, though.

  20. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:03 BST 20 October

    Notts County 0-0 Sheff Wed

Owls midfielder Callum Slattery catches Scott Robertson as he races towards the box and is booked for the challenge.

Rory Finneran goes close from the resulting free-kick - it was just over the bar and is the closest anyone has come so far.

Slattery's booking means he will miss the next match so it was a costly caution.
