    Bristol Rovers 0-2 Salford

Bristol Rovers have looked a little livelier in the opening minutes of this second half, as they look to peg back Salford.

Will Norris has just come off his line to beat away a cross which had Keenan Gough interested, but he clears only to Ciaran Kelly who slices through the ball and skies his effort.

The Gas definitely have their tails up for now, though.

  2. RED CARDpublished at 20:57 BST 20 October

    Notts County 1-0 Sheff Wed

It's going from bad to worse for Wednesday.

Striker Jamal Lowe has been an isolated figure up front for the Owls and tries to add some impetus with a run forward but he takes a heavy touch and lunges to try to reclaim the ball but catches Jacob Bedeau with the follow through.

It's not malicious but it was reckless and he dived in so Lowe can have few complaints.

He looks like he may have injured himself in the process too.

One of those night for the Owls? It certainly looks like it and what a chance for Notts County to get a much-needed win.

We weren’t booing the players. We were booing the abysmal referee. We’ve been bad but we don’t need the officials gifting them two goals.

    Jacob Smith, Hayes Lane

The home fans have certainly been getting behind their side since the start of the second half.

  4. Postpublished at 20:55 BST 20 October

    Notts County 1-0 Sheff Wed

The hosts might come to rue these missed chances.

Early in the second half Nick Tsaroulla has a clear sight of goal but shanks it horribly high and wide.

Still it's Notts County in the ascendancy though.

  5. League Two updatepublished at 20:55 BST 20 October

Ched Evans has pulled one back for Fleetwood - they now trail Cheltenham 3-1.

  6. CLOSE!published at 20:55 BST 20 October

    Bromley 0-3 Leicester

Bright start to the half by the hosts, who have brought on Jodi Jones, Michael Cheek, Kamil Conteh and Kamarl Grant on for the second half.

The kitchen sink from Andy Woodman.

Conteh has come as close as anyone in white tonight as he flashes a low shot past the base of the post from just outside the box.

  7. Postpublished at 20:54 BST 20 October

    Notts County 1-0 Sheff Wed

Iraq international striker Ali Al-Hamadi is on for the second half for the visitors, replacing Callum Slattery, who was shown a yellow card in the opening period.

  8. CLOSE!published at 20:51 BST 20 October

    Huddersfield 1-0 Peterborough

Liam Kelly has gone into the book for the visitors for a foul on Derensili Sanches Fernandes.

Moments later Joe Taylor tees-up Cam Humphreys from the free-kick but his left-footed drive flies inches over Alex Bass' crossbar.

  9. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 20:48 BST 20 October

    Huddersfield 1-0 Peterborough

Two changes for Posh at the break as Bolu Shofowoke and Vernon Masara are withdrawn by Robbie Savage, with Matty Garbett and Ethan Williams coming on.

  10. League Two updatepublished at 20:48 BST 20 October

The deadlock has been broken in League Two's 20:00 BST game - and Gillingham have the lead at the interval.

Ronan Hale fires a penalty just out of the reach of Port Vale goalkeeper Marko Marosi, who had dived the right way, after Ethan Coleman had been fouled.

We're getting back under way in our 22 early kick-offs, with Gillingham and Port Vale just going into the dressing room at Priestfield with the hosts 1-0 up.

    FA Cup first round

Away from EFL action for a moment, Leicester City will travel to National League North side Oxford City in the 2026-27 FA Cup first round.

It is the first time the Foxes have taken part at this stage of the competition since 2008 and they face sixth-tier opposition for a place in the second round.

The 2021 winners were relegated to League One for this season with Russell Martin's side currently 14th having had an inconsistent start to the season.

There will be a family affair as Peterborough United face Reading as Posh boss Robbie Savage will take on his son Charlie's side when the first round kicks off around the weekend of Saturday, 7 November.

A whopping 91 teams were named during the draw with four sides reaching the first round proper for the first time.

Lowest-ranked team Tadley Calleva came from behind twice to force a replay with Aldershot and will make the trip to League One Barnsley should they progress.

Meanwhile, highest-ranked team Bradford City will welcome National League North side Marine as the League One leaders enter the competition.

Eighth-tier AFC Rushden & Diamonds have won five games in the competition this season to reach the first round, with their reward a trip to League One side Burton Albion.

  14. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:41 BST 20 October

    Notts County 1-0 Sheff Wed

Daniel Kanu's penalty sees the impressive hosts through to the halfway stage a goal to the good against the off-colour Owls.

The teams making a mockery of their form coming into this contest with Notts County on a four-game losing streak and the visitors unbeaten in seven.

Henrik Pedersen will be having some stern words with his team you suspect, they are yet to have a shot on target.

  15. 'A really impressive performance'published at 20:41 BST 20 October

HT: Notts County 1-0 Sheff Wed

    Mark Stallard
Ex-Notts County striker on BBC Radio Nottingham

It's been a really impressive performance in that half.

The job isn't done yet, but it's certainly a great start to get the three points.

  17. 'Huddersfield have failed to capitalise'published at 20:39 BST 20 October

    HT: Huddersfield 1-0 Peterborough

    Matt Glennon
Former Huddersfield keeper on BBC Radio Leeds

Huddersfield Town started rampantly, but have failed to capitalise on their first goal.

They've allowed Peterborough back into the game, they have sat back far too much.

  18. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:36 BST 20 October

    Bristol Rovers 0-2 Salford

League Two leaders Salford look good value to remain at the top of the division and extend their winning streak to six games, as we break for half-time.

Brendan Wiredu and Dan Udoh both scored in the opening 20 minutes as the Ammies asserted themselves against hosts Bristol Rovers and, although the Gas did show signs of life later in the half, Salford have been relatively comfortable and looked to add to their lead.

With Barnet and Crewe, in pursuit of them, both being behind at the break elsewhere, things are currently very much going Salford's way.

  19. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:35 BST 20 October

    Huddersfield 1-0 Peterborough

The Terriers have their noses in front at the break.

Ilias Bronkhorst's close-range finish from an Archie Collins free-kick separates the sides, and he blazed another chance over while Alex Bass denied Ashley Fletcher a second.

Posh have had their moments but good Town defence and brave work from keeper Matty Young has kept them at bay, for now.

  20. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:34 BST 20 October

    Bromley 0-3 Leicester

One of the most pleasant 45 minutes of Russell Martin's year, I expect.

Leicester have been very good but in truth Bromley have made things rather too easy for them.

Will Alves set the tone with a thumping near post finish early on and John Lundstram's deflected effort on 16 minutes made it two before Luke Thomas turned in the third from close range on the stroke of half-time.

Grant Smith in the Ravens goal produced a string of fine saves to keep the deficit to just three - it really might have been six by now.

Bromley are booed off by their fans.
