AFC Wimbledon striker Osman Foyo has completed a permanent transfer to USL Championship side Rhode Island FC.

The 21-year-old joined the Dons in January 2025 from Ipswich Town and made six appearances as they secured promotion to League One.

He made a further nine appearances last season, as well as going on loan to National League side Sutton United where he scored twice in ten matches.

The TV schedule for the opening two months of the English Football League's 2026-27 season have been announced and with that, there are a few games getting a headline slot.

Here are the new dates to jot into your calendars across the EFL in August and September:

• Thursday, 20 August - Sheffield Wednesday v Bradford City (20:00 BST)

• Sunday, 23 August - West Bromwich Albion v Burnley (12:00 BST)

• Friday, 28 August - Wrexham v Birmingham City (20:00 BST)

• Sunday, 6 September - Birmingham City v Wolves (12:00 BST)

• Monday, 7 September - Bromley v AFC Wimbledon (20:00 BST)

• Thursday, 10 September - Stevenage v Luton Town (20:00 BST)

• Friday, 11 September - West Ham United v Wrexham (20:00 BST)

• Sunday, 13 September - Sheffield United v Wolves (12:00 BST)

• Thursday, 17 September - AFC Wimbledon v MK Dons (20:00 BST)

• Friday, 18 September - Bristol City v Watford (20:00 BST)

• Sunday, 20 September - Wolves v West Bromwich Albion (12:00 BST)

AFC Wimbledon have appointed Michael Morrison as first-team coach.

The 38-year-old former centre-half played played more than 750 games for seven clubs, including Charlton and Birmingham. He lifted the League One title with both Reading and Charlton and helped Cambridge to promotion from League Two last season before announcing his retirement from playing.

Morrison told the Dons' website: "I always wanted to move into coaching when my career as a player finished. Wimbledon is a club which is greatly connected from the fans right through to what you see on the pitch."

Wimbledon manager Johnnie Jackson added: "Michael is an exciting young coach, who is really keen to make his mark on the coaching side of football. He has vast experience in the EFL and was captain at the majority of clubs that he played for."
