  1. CLOSE!published at 12:51 BST 22 August

    Walsall 0-0 Grimsby

Grimsby press well high up the pitch to keep an attack alive.

Cian Doyle eventually nicks in on the edge of the box and gets a shot away but it flies narrowly wide.

The visitors are just starting to take control of this contest at the moment.

  2. GREAT SAVE!published at 12:51 BST 22 August

    Bristol Rovers 0-1 Newport

Newport goalkeeper Jordan Wright is starting to have to earn his wage here.

First, he's having to deny Fabrizio Cavegn an equaliser but the Rovers man comes again to find a good position in the box. This time though Wright reads the move and is down to smother the ball before Cavegn can get his boot on it.

  3. 'Barnsley have started to wake up'published at 12:51 BST 22 August

    Doncaster 0-0 Barnsley

    Adie Moses
Ex-Barnsley defender on BBC Radio Sheffield

Barnsley have woken up a bit and the quality seems to be in there now.

We're developing and operating in nice areas where you can look to get it into the box.

At least we're playing better football now and passing with a purpose.

  4. Postpublished at 12:50 BST 22 August

    Luton 0-0 Notts County

After a nine-minute break in play for that injury to Jordan Clark, we are back under way at Kenilworth Road.

We will have a hefty chunk of added time at the end of this first half.

  5. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 12:48 BST 22 August

    Luton 0-0 Notts County

A round of applause for Luton's Jordan Clark as he's carried away on a stretcher.

Gideon Kodua - last Saturday's match-winner with a 96th-minute goal at Reading - is on in his place.

  6. 'Blow' for Luton after Clark's stretchered offpublished at 12:48 BST 22 August

    Luton 0-0 Notts County

    Trent Hutson
    BBC Three Counties Radio commentator

It's goalless but there's been some real concern for Jordan Clark who went up for a header at the back post and hasn't returned to his feet since. I don't think this game is going to get back under way anytime soon.

There's about five or six paramedics surrounding Jordan Clark on a stretcher. He's just laid flat out on his back with a group of paramedics and physios around him.

Certainly a blow here in the opening 10 minutes for Luton, we really hope it's nothing too serious.

  7. CLOSE!published at 12:47 BST 22 August

    Salford 0-1 Chesterfield

A major let off for Salford.

Lee Bonis disposes Ammies keeper Will Norris way outside his area after a heavy touch. The Chesterfield striker tries his luck from about 25 yards out but it's inches wide of the empty goal.

It's not been the greatest start from Salford and Norris who will be one relieved man after that as Chesterfield should probably be two up.

  8. Postpublished at 12:47 BST 22 August

    Doncaster 0-0 Barnsley

Into double figures on the clock and Barnsley are finally starting to go on the attack.

There is some lovely passing to try and carve out a path to goal but captain Luca Connell's effort is sent skyward.

Better signs from the visitors though, who haven't really posed much threat so far.

  9. Postpublished at 12:45 BST 22 August

    Luton 0-0 Notts County

This doesn't look great for Jordan Clark.

He's still down for Luton in the Notts County area and the stretcher is on with several medical staff around him.

    Let's hope he's OK.

Darius Lipsiuc is fine to continue for County.

  10. 'Doncaster dominating possession'published at 12:44 BST 22 August

    Doncaster 0-0 Barnsley

    Lee Turnbull
Former Doncaster player on BBC Radio Sheffield

It's been a very good start from Doncaster Rovers, who are dominating possession here.

The high press they're playing has been really effective.

  11. CLOSE!published at 12:43 BST 22 August

    Walsall 0-0 Grimsby

Mason Hancock let's fly from range for Walsall and it's not too far wide of the near post.

  12. Postpublished at 12:43 BST 22 August

    Salford 0-1 Chesterfield

Chesterfield are on the front foot here as goalscorer Lee Bonis gets a shot off inside the box, but it's well blocked by a Salford defender.

  13. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 12:42 BST 22 August

    Bristol Rovers 0-1 Newport

Newport goal scorer Harrison Biggins gets his laces on a volley from distance and the arch of the ball is gorgeous.

It's beaten the keeper and seems destined for the corner but it ends up ricocheting off the bar instead.

    Good effort.

  14. Postpublished at 12:42 BST 22 August

    Luton 0-0 Notts County

Luton are wondering how they are not ahead.

The ball comes in from the left and there's a big coming together in the six-yard box.

It's somehow cleared off the line by Jacob Bedeau but there appears to be more serious concerns here for Hatters midfielder Jordan Clark and County's Darius Lipsiuc, with both down getting treatment.

  15. Postpublished at 12:39 BST 22 August

    Doncaster 0-0 Barnsley

Doncaster are gifted a free-kick in their attacking half but too many short passes sees the opportunity fall by the wayside and the forward ball from George Broadbent has too much on it.

Rovers get to go again though as the ball is delivered perfectly for skipper Owen Bailey in the box but his header goes high.

  16. 'Barnsley need to get more bodies on board'published at 12:39 BST 22 August

    Doncaster 0-0 Barnsley

    Adie Moses
Ex-Barnsley defender on BBC Radio Sheffield

I was there last week and there were a few warning signs for Barnsley for me. Lack of experience for a start and the squad looked thin.

Don't get me wrong it's early days, but we'll play a lot better sides than Bromley in this league. I think we need to get more bodies on board.

  17. Postpublished at 12:39 BST 22 August

    Salford 0-1 Chesterfield

Chesterfield go in search of a second as Josh Koroma goes on a run and unleashes a strike from the edge of the box, but it flies just over the bar.

Salford have just not got going yet.

  18. Postpublished at 12:39 BST 22 August

    Luton 0-0 Notts County

Kasey Palmer had quite the afternoon at Reading last weekend, with a double in that dramatic 4-3 win for Luton.

He wins a corner for the Hatters and it's cleared by County before Liam Walsh attempts an ambitious low drive from a tight angle but it's straight at James Belshaw.

  19. Postpublished at 12:37 BST 22 August

    Walsall 0-0 Grimsby

A first effort of the game for Grimsby as Andy Cook rises highest in the Walsall area to meet it with his head but can only nod high and wide of the mark. Not too far away to be fair.

  20. Rovers 'need to tighten up communication' after defeatpublished at 12:37 BST 22 August

    Doncaster 0-0 Barnsley

    Lee Turnbull
Former Doncaster player on BBC Radio Sheffield

Rovers need to be defensively tighter than they were in their last game at Mansfield. Set pieces are a real thorn in your side especially early in your season - they are a major threat.

They need to tighten up on communication and how they set up. I'm sure they've been working on that all week. Let's hope they can keep a clean sheet today and hopefully get the three points.
