  1. 'Nothing can separate these two teams'published at 13:33 BST 22 August

    HT: Luton 1-1 Notts County

    Trent Hutson
    BBC Three Counties Radio commentator

The half-time whistle blows as both teams trot down the tunnel. At the break, nothing can separate these two teams.

A lengthy stoppage of around 10 minutes in that first half after Jordan Clark went down with what looked like a head injury.

I'm sure everyone inside the stadium will be hoping he's alright.

  2. KICK-OFFpublished at 13:32 BST 22 August

    League One & League Two

Second halves of our 12:30 BST kick-offs just about getting underway, with Luton to follow a little later after their mammoth added time.

Been an entertaining start to the day, hasn't it? Long may it continue.

  3. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:28 BST 22 August

    Luton 1-1 Notts County

A 57-minute first half finally comes to an end.

It's an entertaining game at Kenilworth Road, even if it has been slightly overshadowed by a serious injury to Jordan Clark.

The Luton midfielder was stretchered off and we had 11 minutes added on.

The Hatters went ahead from the spot through Nahki Wells before Callum Roberts rifled in a half-volley to bring Notts County level.

  4. 'Rovers had better chances in first half'published at 13:27 BST 22 August

    HT: Doncaster 0-0 Barnsley

Rovers have had the better chances in the first half, particularly the Alfie Way one where he twisted and turned - he'll be disappointed with that one and would have expected to score.

But I'm pleased that Barnsley have come into the game a little bit and I'm looking forward to the second half.

  5. Postpublished at 13:26 BST 22 August

    Luton 1-1 Notts County

In comes the corner from the right from Jake Richards for Luton but it's kept out by Notts County goalkeeper James Belshaw at the near post and the visitors can hack it clear.

  6. Postpublished at 13:25 BST 22 August

    Luton 1-1 Notts County

Luton win a corner in the 54th minute. It's still the first half, though.

  7. Postpublished at 13:23 BST 22 August

    Luton 1-1 Notts County

Luton with plenty of possession to end this half but can they make anything of it?

Notts County have more than held their own so far.

  8. Postpublished at 13:21 BST 22 August

    Luton 1-1 Notts County

Still another six minutes to go until half-time at Kenilworth Road.

    It's a decent game, this.

  9. 'Wonderful strike'published at 13:20 BST 22 August

    Luton 1-1 Notts County

    Adam Hassell
    BBC Radio Nottingham commentator

What a finish from Callum Roberts! A wonderful strike on the half-volley.

He absolutely buries it into the bottom corner. It just took a flick off a defender away from the goalkeeper but it's crept in that bottom corner past the post.

Notts County behind for less than four minutes in this game.

  10. 11 ADDED MINUTESpublished at 13:19 BST 22 August

    Luton 1-1 Notts County

That goal for Notts County came just as 11 minutes had gone up on the board for stoppage time at the end of this first half.

A reminder that Luton's Jordan Clark suffered a nasty looking injury earlier on and was down for quite some time before being stretchered off.

  11. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:18 BST 22 August

    Doncaster 0-0 Barnsley

Nothing to split them at the break.

Barnsley grew into the game but so far haven't been able to mount an effort on target.

Meanwhile, Doncaster's bright start seems to have faded but it's still them who have offered up the most dangerous of attempts, with Alfie May notably hitting wide after a huge chance before half-time.

If Barnsley can find their scoring boots, you'd favour them. But, can they?

  12. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:18 BST 22 August

    Bristol Rovers 1-1 Newport

A goal at each end of the first half puts things level at Memorial Stadium.

Harrison Biggins was played in to score in the opening minute of the game but Bristol Rovers applied plenty of pressure to that lead throughout the entirety of the first half.

Tireless was their tirades of attacks and they finally got what they were looking for after Ben Purrington was able to nudge the ball into the net as it fell kindly off the bar onto his head.

Newport had some chances too, though. An interesting second half awaits.

  13. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:18 BST 22 August

    Salford 0-1 Chesterfield

Chesterfield go into the break leading by a goal to nil after Lee Bonis' goal after just two minutes.

Salford have had a lot of the ball, but after just one shot on target in that half, it just hasn't clicked in attack yet for the Ammies.

  14. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:17 BST 22 August

    Walsall 0-0 Grimsby

Nothing to separate the two sides at the break.

Grimsby will feel they've had the better of the chances, with Cian Doyle firing just wide from the edge of the area and Charles Vernam blazing over from 12 yards out.

  15. goal

GOAL: Luton 1-1 Notts Countypublished at 13:17 BST 22 August

    Callum Roberts (45+1 mins)

    How about that?!

The ball drops to Callum Roberts about 20 yards out for Notts County and he hits a powerful half-volley through a crowd of bodies.

It takes a deflection on the way through before nestling in the bottom corner.

Luton's lead didn't last long and the Magpies are right back in it.

  16. 'Veteran EFL marksman' Wells gives Luton leadpublished at 13:16 BST 22 August

    Luton 1-0 Notts County

    Trent Hutson
    BBC Three Counties Radio commentator

Luton have lift off at Kenilworth Road! It's the veteran, EFL marksman, that is Nakhi Wells who finds the bottom corner. Five minutes before half-time and the Hatters lead the Magpies.

It's Luton who strike first in their opening home match of the season. "Up the football league, we go!" sing the Luton fans.

  17. goal

GOAL: Bristol Rovers 1-1 Newportpublished at 13:16 BST 22 August

    Ben Purrington (45+1 mins)

    They've been coming for it.

Bobby Kamwa's evasive touch is excellent and though his shot can only roll off the back of the bar, it drops in the right place for Ben Purrington to give it a gentle nod into the net.

    Lovely and well deserved too.

  18. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:15 BST 22 August

    Salford 0-1 Chesterfield

First booking of the game as Chesterfield's Liam Mandeville goes into the referee's book for a foul on Jorge Grant.

  19. 'May will be disappointed to not open scoring'published at 13:15 BST 22 August

    Doncaster 0-0 Barnsley

    Lee Turnbull
Former Doncaster player on BBC Radio Sheffield

Talk about a game of inches. Alfie May has done brilliant there - chopped on to right, chopped on to his left - he's dinked it over the keeper and it looked like a perfect finish, except it just missed the back of the net.

He'll be disappointed he didn't put Doncaster 1-0 up in this South Yorkshire derby.

  20. Postpublished at 13:14 BST 22 August

    Salford 0-1 Chesterfield

Salford with their first attempt at goal as Adebola Oluwo heads one towards goal from Luke Molyneux's cross but it's comfortable for Chesterfield keeper Ryan Boot.
