  1. GREAT SAVE!published at 14:07 BST 22 August

    Walsall 0-0 Grimsby

    What a save, Jed Ward!

Grimsby work a lovely move and Jayden Sweeney is played in on the left.

He rifles a powerful drive towards the near post but Ward is equal to it with a fine stop.

  2. Postpublished at 14:06 BST 22 August

    Salford 0-1 Chesterfield

A Liam Mandeville free-kick finds Kyle McFadzean who sends a looped header at goal which goes just wide.

  3. goal

GOAL: Bristol Rovers 4-2 Newportpublished at 14:05 BST 22 August

    Bobby Kamwa (74 mins)

Bristol Rovers double their lead... again!

Bobby Kamwa makes the move into the box and strikes a clean hit. The keeper gets his fingertips on it but it's got too much power on it and glides past into the corner.

  4. YELLOW CARDpublished at 14:05 BST 22 August

    Walsall 0-0 Grimsby

James Connolly is into the book for Walsall for giving a foul away on the edge of his own area.

It's a great chance for Grimsby to test Jed Ward in the home goal from the free-kick but Iwan Morgan fires it straight at the wall of red shirts.

  5. 'A huge blow for Luton'published at 14:04 BST 22 August

    Luton 1-2 Notts County

    Trent Hutson
    BBC Three Counties Radio commentator

Notts County lead here at Kenilworth - a huge blow for Luton. It's Oliver Cooper who takes the ball on the turn and slides the ball into the bottom corner. It's a well-taken goal for Notts County.

Luton have work to do from behind here - right on the hour mark.

Jack Wilshere instantly looks at his bench now to try and find a response straight away. There's no messing around from Wilshire.

  6. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 14:04 BST 22 August

    Doncaster 0-0 Barnsley

Reyes Cleary has entered the fray.

The Barnsley man has been linked with a move away but either way, he will do himself no harm if he can have an impact here.

Hakeeb Adelakun heads to the bench.

  7. CLOSE!published at 14:03 BST 22 August

    Luton 1-2 Notts County

Kasey Palmer tries to bring Luton back on level terms almost immediately but he flashes an effort just wide of the far post.

  8. Postpublished at 14:02 BST 22 August

    Bristol Rovers 3-2 Newport

Tommy Leigh's diagonal cross is gorgeous and so precise. It finds his Bristol Rovers team-mate Shaq Forde but he can't work it around Newport's staunch defence to have a punt at the net.

The Gas have treated their home fans to quite the performance so far today. 21 shots, six on target, three in the goal.

  9. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 14:02 BST 22 August

    Salford 0-1 Chesterfield

Salford changes as Abraham Odoh comes on for Kelly N'Mai and Ben Woodburn making way for Kyrell Malcolm.

  10. goal

GOAL: Luton 1-2 Notts Countypublished at 14:00 BST 22 August

    Ollie Cooper (61 mins)

    Wow! Who saw this coming?

Ollie Cooper drifts into the area and nobody in the Luton backline picks up the run.

It's a wonderful ball into the box from Nick Tsaroulla to find Cooper, who spins on it and slots perfectly in at the near post.

Terrible defending by the Hatters. There wasn't an orange shirt near Cooper. Completely unmarked eight yards out.

  11. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:59 BST 22 August

    Walsall 0-0 Grimsby

Andy Cook makes way for Grimsby and on comes 20-year-old signing from Brentford Iwan Morgan.

  12. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:58 BST 22 August

    Salford 0-1 Chesterfield

Chesterfield change as George McEachran makes way for Tom Naylor.

  13. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:58 BST 22 August

    Doncaster 0-0 Barnsley

Barnsley's Makenzie Kirk is swapped out for Noah Town.

Neither of these sides have been able to call up some magic in this second half. Town's got a big job to try and supply.

  14. Postpublished at 13:57 BST 22 August

    Luton 1-1 Notts County

Luka Smyth almost gives Notts County the lead!

The Magpies forward sneaks in at the back post to meet a cross and his close range header is just about beaten away by Josh Keeley.

    Chances at both ends.

  15. South Yorkshire derby 'calling out for quality'published at 13:55 BST 22 August

    Doncaster 0-0 Barnsley

    Adie Moses
Ex-Barnsley defender on BBC Radio Sheffield

It's 0-0, 20 minutes or so into the second half and I think it's there for either side. I think with a bit of quality from somebody will be the difference in this game.

The match hasn't been devoid of chances but a bit of quality and a good ball into the box - you never know.

  16. 'Scrappy start to second half'published at 13:55 BST 22 August

    Luton 1-1 Notts County

    Mark Stallard
Ex-Notts County striker on BBC Radio Nottingham

Notts County have started the second half way well but it's been a real scrappy period of play.

Both teams have been getting into decent positions and just spoiling it. We've had a few stoppages and niggly fouls, it's just not really helping the flow of the game.

  17. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 13:55 BST 22 August

    Salford 0-1 Chesterfield

In comes a low cross from Kelly Nmai which finds Ben Woodburn with the latter's effort coming off the post.

That's the closest Salford have come all afternoon.

  18. Postpublished at 13:54 BST 22 August

    Luton 1-1 Notts County

Another great chance for Luton to take the lead and they really should be ahead.

Emilio Lawrence drives down the left and puts it on a plate for Gideon Kodua. Centre of the goal, 10 yards out... but Kodua smashes over.

  19. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:54 BST 22 August

    Walsall 0-0 Grimsby

It drops kindly in the Walsall area for Charles Vernam, who is racing in at the back post for Grimbsy, but his first time effort is blocked.

And now time for a change for Walsall as Andrew Dallas is replaced by Reece Smith.

Or is he? Dallas takes too long and Smith will have to wait another minute to enter the field under the new rules this season.

  20. Postpublished at 13:53 BST 22 August

    Salford 0-1 Chesterfield

Lovely technique from Chesterfield's Josh Koroma who opens his body up to curl one towards goal, but it flies just wide.
