  1. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:48 BST 22 August

    Wrexham 1-1 Watford

    A blow for Watford.

A clash of heads between George Thomason and Omar Traore leads the Watford man being unable to continue.

On comes Albert Eames for the visitors.

  2. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48 BST 22 August

    Blackburn 0-1 Middlesbrough

Jeremey Sarmiento's fine finish to a flowing team move has Boro ahead at the break, but Rovers have held their own and only a brilliant Luke Ayling block on the line denied Ryoya Morishita an equaliser.

Should be a cracking second half.

  3. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48 BST 22 August

    West Ham 0-1 Charlton

    Well, well, well.

Charlton lead at West Ham and might have had a bigger lead at the break.

Lloyd Jones produced a lovely acrobatic finish to put the Addicks ahead after seven minutes and stun the sold-out London Stadium while Miles Leaburn clipped the bar with an effort after the Hammers conceded possession cheaply.

  4. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:46 BST 22 August

    Southampton 1-1 Stoke

The home side took the lead through Cyle Larin's third goal of the season but Ethan Galbraith's leveller means we go in all-square at the break.

  5. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:45 BST 22 August

    Blackburn 0-1 Middlesbrough

Blackburn still searching for a leveller at Ewood Park but Kristi Montgomery has been denied by a sharp low stop from Radek Vitek in the Boro goal after a neat exchange of passes with Andri Gudjohnsen.

  6. Postpublished at 15:44 BST 22 August

    Derby 1-2 Cardiff

Corey Blackett-Taylor almost produces an instant reply for Derby but Nathan Trott is there to deny the home striker for the third time in this half.

  7. Selfless from Colwillpublished at 15:43 BST 22 August

    Derby 1-2 Cardiff

    Iwan Roberts
Former Wales striker on BBC Radio Cymru

Rubin Colwill could have gone himself, but he spotted the run of Yousef Salech, who makes no mistake and restores Cardiff’s lead.

  8. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:42 BST 22 August

    Swansea 0-0 Sheff Utd

Out of nowhere Sheffield United forward Callum O'Hare hits a shot that comes back off the crossbar.

  10. goal

GOAL: Derby 1-2 Cardiffpublished at 15:40 BST 22 August

    Youself Salech (39 mins)

    Back in front.

Ollie Tanner jinks his way past a couple of challenges and when the cross goes in from Rubin Colwill, there is last season's top scorer Yousef Salech to nab his third of this campaign.

Very even this. Both in terms of scoreline and possession.

  12. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:39 BST 22 August

    Wrexham 1-1 Watford

    Even closer for Wrexham.

Danny Imray already has one goal and almost adds a second as his shot shaves the outside of the post.

  13. 'Difficult for Preston'published at 15:39 BST 22 August

    Preston 0-1 Wolves

    Alan Kelly
Former Preston keeper on BBC Radio Lancashire

It is very, very difficult for Preston because they are needing to get players back when Wolves attack and when they win it back, they have 70-yards to make up. There has not been many shots today, which tells the story.

The quality of that final pass has been the let down of Preston today.

  14. Postpublished at 15:38 BST 22 August

    Wrexham 1-1 Watford

Ben Whiteman is making his full debut for Wrexham today.

He brings a decent save out of the Watford goalkeeper Federico Ravaglia.

  15. Postpublished at 15:36 BST 22 August

    Preston 0-1 Wolves

Toti Gomes sends a header just wide for Wolves from Mateus Mane's corner.

There have been chances for both sides but Wolves still have their noses in front.

Surely QPR will have to do something this year. Whether they go up, or more likely down, it feels like they cannot last another season of mediocrity.

    Will, London

  17. CLOSE!published at 15:34 BST 22 August

    QPR 0-0 Bolton

The goal continues to lead a charmed life.

The Hoops work a free-kick well with Jimmy Dunne nodding the ball back across the face of goal but Richard Kone can't quite get on the end of it.

  18. Postpublished at 15:33 BST 22 August

    West Ham 0-1 Charlton

    It's Charlton again...

Lloyd Jones gets his head on the ball in the West Ham mixer but his effort is too close to Mads Hermansen.

  19. 'Preston getting into the game'published at 15:32 BST 22 August

    Preston 0-1 Wolves

    Andy Mutch
Former Wolves striker on BBC Radio WM

Great organisation from the Wolves players there, taking care of the ball.

They are looking after the ball so well, and working it into the creative outlets at real pace.

I am really liking what I am seeing from this Wolves side.

Preston have started to get into the game in the last few minutes, but the Wolves counter is strong.

  20. Off the linepublished at 15:32 BST 22 August

    Preston 0-1 Wolves

Preston are pressing for an equaliser.

Callum Lang gets up at the far post to win a header and Jackson Tchatchoua heads the ball off the line.
