    QPR 0-0 Bolton

The Hoops continue to pile forward and Kwame Poku skews a shot in the box from kealey Adamson's cut-back before Ilias Chair finds Richard Kone in the box only for his first-time shot to be saved by Jack Bonham, who has had a busy first 15 minutes.

  2. Postpublished at 15:17 BST 22 August

    Swansea 0-0 Sheff Utd

No shots on target as yet.

The Blades managed just one of those in the whole of last Saturday's 0-0 draw with Birmingham.

    QPR 0-0 Bolton

    Lee Blakeman
Commentator on BBC Radio 5 Live

QPR got off to a great start last week, and they’ve started brilliantly here at Loftus Road.

Three shots on target in the opening stages. Jack Bonham doing well to tip over a shot from Harvey Vale (who could already have a couple).

  4. Postpublished at 15:15 BST 22 August

    QPR 0-0 Bolton

Very bright start to this one as Gaizka Larrazabal has lashed a volley over the Hoops bar from the right of the box before Jack Bonham denied Harvey Vale's low shot in the box at the other end.

  5. goal

GOAL: Wrexham 0-1 Watfordpublished at 15:15 BST 22 August

    Luca Kjerrumgaard (14 mins)

    Hornets sting the home side.

Omar Traore dangles the carrot with a wonderful cross and Luca Kjerrumgaard nods in his first goal of the season.

  6. Off pitch woes for Sheffield Unitedpublished at 15:14 BST 22 August

    Swansea 0-0 Sheff Utd

    Laura Kenyon
BBC Final Score reporter at Swansea.com stadium

Sheffield United had just one effort on target in their opening game of the season against Birmingham. Still it's not the performance on the pitch raising eyebrows.

Off the pitch, it’s really not pretty. Claims the current owners owe the former owners £35m. Liquidators called in and looming points deductions.

Not the start to the season any Blades fan wanted. A good representation of them in the away end at the Swansea.com stadium today.

  7. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:13 BST 22 August

    Derby 0-0 Cardiff

Rubin Colwill scored last-second leveller for Cardiff on Monday and he almost adds a second to his tally.

His shot is tipped onto the bar by Jacob Widell Zetterstrom in the Derby goal.

  8. 'Wolves think they are in control'published at 15:13 BST 22 August

    Preston 0-1 Wolves

    Alan Kelly
Former Preston keeper on BBC Radio Lancashire

Wolves have scored that goal and they think they are in control of the game now.

It just shows how the visitors have changed their mentality after going ahead. Preston had the better of the first five minutes.

  9. goal

GOAL: Blackburn 0-1 Middlesbroughpublished at 15:12 BST 22 August

    Jeremy Sarmiento (12 mins)

First blood to Boro, and this is some lovely football.

Jeremy Sarmiento becomes the first man not named Will Lankshear to score in a Boro shirt this season to end a flowing team move, threaded through on the left of the box by Morgan Whittaker to fire a low shot into the corner past Balasz Toth to send the 6,000 travelling fans into rapture.

  10. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:12 BST 22 August

    Blackburn 0-0 Middlesbrough

Good game, this, and Rovers are holding their own.

Andri Gudjonsen sprays it wide for the marauding Ryan Alebiosu but his angled strike from the right is blocked by the boot of Radek Vitek in the Boro goal.

    Southampton 1-0 Stoke City

    Dan George
BBC Sport England at St Mary's

Well that's the perfect start that Southampton were hoping for, Cyle Larin continues his fine goalscoring form from last season and the World Cup.

About five minutes before the goal Stoke fans were chanting that Southampton are cheats, I won't repeat the full song.

Some select Saints fans behind us then sung back "We are Southampton, we'll spy when we want".

Safe to say that the hosts are winning the battle on the pitch right now.

  12. 'What a fantastic goal'published at 15:10 BST 22 August

    Preston 0-1 Wolves

    Andy Mutch
Former Wolves striker on BBC Radio WM

What a fantastic goal that was. Lopez did a beautiful turn on the half way line, carried on going and found the space to stick an effort past the goalkeeper.

    Fer Lopez (8 mins)

Wolves celebrate a goalImage source, Getty Images

    That is Premier League quality.

Fer Lopez turns smartly on the halfway line before driving forward and bending an effort beyond Daniel Iversen.

    You do not stop those.

  14. goal

GOAL: Southampton 1-0 Stokepublished at 15:08 BST 22 August

    Cyle Larin (8 mins)

    Who else?!

Canada international Cyle Larin scores for the third straight game.

Flynn Downes does well to take the ball in and then play the big man in on goal and he just doesn't miss at the moment.

  15. Postpublished at 15:08 BST 22 August

    Wrexham 0-0 Watford

Wrexham goalkeeper Anthony Patterson is in the action early.

The home stopper denies Amin Nabizada.

    A decent start from Watford.

  16. goal

GOAL: West Ham 0-1 Charltonpublished at 15:08 BST 22 August

    Lloyd Jones (7 mins)

Welcome to the Championship, West Ham.

Two-in-two for Lloyd Jones, who is a centre-back but produces a moment of magic in the box to chest down a long throw from Sonny Carey and hook an acrobatic effort over his shoulder past Mads Hermansen and into the bottom corner to send the travelling Addicks fans wild at the sold-out London Stadium.

  17. Postpublished at 15:08 BST 22 August

    QPR 0-0 Bolton

Bright start for the hosts as Kwame Poku cuts in from the right and whips in a dangerous cross-shot but Jack Bonham in the Trotters goal holds on.

  18. Postpublished at 15:07 BST 22 August

    Swansea 0-0 Sheff Utd

These pair met in this exact fixture in the second league game of last season too.

The Swans won that one 1-0 as the Blades started the season with a club-record seven successive defeats.

    Here we go then.

Southampton get their first home game of the Championship season under way.

Saints owner Dragan Solak is just behind us and looks out onto the ground as "we've got Tonda Eckert" is sung by the supporters.

  20. Postpublished at 15:06 BST 22 August

    Blackburn 0-0 Middlesbrough

Boro are the first to show at Ewood Park as former Rovers man Callum Brittain heads across the mixer and Myles Peart-Harris is just pipped to the ball by a defender.
