  1. 'Wolves caught out a few times'published at 16:25 BST 22 August

    Preston 0-1 Wolves

    Andy Mutch
Former Wolves striker on BBC Radio WM

Wolves are starting to play the ball in and around their own box which is okay, but they have been caught out a few times. They need to start spreading the play or they will be just defending for the last few minutes.

  2. Postpublished at 16:23 BST 22 August

    Southampton 1-1 Stoke

Big block from Eric Bocat to stop Cyle Larin putting the home side back in front.

  3. Postpublished at 16:23 BST 22 August

    West Ham 0-2 Charlton

Charlton might not stop at two, you know.

Tyreece Campbell teases a cross in towards Karlan Grant but it's good hands from Hammers keeper Mads Hermansen to smother it.

  4. YELLOW CARDpublished at 16:21 BST 22 August

    Blackburn 2-1 Middlesbrough

Rovers debutant Sam Morsy has gone into the book for a foul on Jeremy Sarmiento, who has since been replaced by Kyle Joseph, with Riley McGree coming on for Myles Peart-Harris.

Callum Brittain has sliced a shot wide for Boro as they try to get back on terms.

  5. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:21 BST 22 August

    Southampton 1-1 Stoke

George Hirst's Stoke debut is over as he makes way for Robert Bozenik.

The away side have also seen Ethan Galbraith booked for a foul.

  6. Postpublished at 16:20 BST 22 August

    Wrexham 1-1 Watford

Callum Doyle is so close to putting Wrexham ahead but his header flies just wide from a Lewis O'Brien cross.

You sense the home side are going to be doing most of the attacking in this second period.

  7. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 16:20 BST 22 August

    Swansea 0-0 Sheff Utd

The home side go to the bench and on comes last season's Championship top scorer Zan Vipotnik.

Eom Ji-Sung is also on for the Swans.

  8. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:20 BST 22 August

    West Ham 0-2 Charlton

First real sight of West Ham as an attacking force as a Jarrod Bowen cross had to be nodded behind shortly before debutant Joel Piroe is denied by a smart stop from another debutant, Addicks keeper Arthur Okonkwo.

  9. 'Wolves counter attacks so dangerous'published at 16:19 BST 22 August

    Preston 0-1 Wolves

    Alan Kelly
Former Preston keeper on BBC Radio Lancashire

Andre patrolling in front of his defence, knows when to win the ball and what to do with it. it is that split-second ability to break that is so dangerous for Wolves.

  10. Postpublished at 16:19 BST 22 August

    QPR 0-0 Bolton

It's still all Hoops, Harvey Vale had a free header just outside the six yard box from a ball over the top but can only plant his effort straight at keeper Jack Bonham.

It could genuinely be three or four nil at present, but Bolton have a point to hold onto, as it stands.

  11. Postpublished at 16:17 BST 22 August

    Swansea 0-0 Sheffield United

    Gareth Vincent
BBC Sport Wales at the Swansea.com Stadium

Swansea are playing with plenty of energy, but for all their endeavour, Vitor Matos' team have lacked the quality required to break Sheffield United down.

Adam Idah has put in a solid shift up front, but you wonder how long it will be until Matos turns to either Zan Vipotnik or Ross Stewart.

While Swansea have had the lion's share of possession, it is the Blades who - up until now at least - have created the clearer sights of goal.

  12. Postpublished at 16:17 BST 22 August

    Preston 0-1 Wolves

Jordan Storey sends a header wide for Preston who are most certainly not out of this.

Could it get nervy for Wolves?

Well they almost buy themselves some breathing space but Daniel Iversen does well to deny Mateus Mane.

  13. Postpublished at 16:15 BST 22 August

    Southampton 1-1 Stoke City

    Dan George
BBC Sport England at St Mary's

It's still level here at St Mary's 10 minutes into the second half and there has been plenty of back and forth between the two sets of fans.

The cheating chants continue from the Stoke City fans while the Saints supporters are now chanting against the English Football League (EFL) who removed them from last season's play-off final.

On the pitch Southampton are looking the most likely to find a breakthrough right now, pinning Stoke into their half as they look to break the Potters down.

  14. goal

GOAL: West Ham 0-2 Charltonpublished at 16:14 BST 22 August

    Tyreece Campbell (56 mins)

    Tyreece CampbellImage source, Shutterstock

Not so happy Hammers... the London Stadium is on the edge.

Tyreece Campbell has doubled the Addicks lead with a low finish past Mads Hermansen after Konstantinos Mavropanos was robbed by Miles Leaburn, scoring for the second game in a row, just like skipper Lloyd Jones did earlier.

Can the hosts mount some kind of a comeback?

  15. Postpublished at 16:14 BST 22 August

    Swansea 0-0 Sheff Utd

Still very little doing in this one.

Joseph Opoku has a decent opening for the home side but his shot is booted clear.

  16. Postpublished at 16:14 BST 22 August

    Wrexham 1-1 Watford

Iker Bravo has a dip at goal for Watord.

Anthony Patterson is equal to it in the home goal.

  17. goal

GOAL: Blackburn 2-1 Middlesbroughpublished at 16:13 BST 22 August

    Todd Cantwell (55 mins)

    Rovers in dreamland.

They have ridden their luck a touch but Blackburn have now turned the game on its head as Todd Cantwell dives to head home a cross from Ryan Alebiosu on the right.

    Have Boro got an answer?

  18. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:13 BST 22 August

    Blackburn 1-1 Middlesbrough

Boro straight back on the attack looking to get their lead back and Rovers keeper Balasz Toth has produced two good stops, the first to deny Myles Peart-Harris' header and then another from Morgan Whittaker, while Will Lankshear has also seen a shot charged down.

  19. Postpublished at 16:11 BST 22 August

    Wrexham 1-1 Watford

Watford goalkeeper Federico Ravaglia is called into action early in the second half.

Danny Imray has a goal, has hit the post and now brings a decent save out of the visiting 'keeper.

  20. 'Preston starting strong'published at 16:11 BST 22 August

    Preston 0-1 Wolves

    Andy Mutch
Former Wolves striker on BBC Radio WM

It's not surprising that Preston are starting strong for this first ten minutes, but we are looking well set-up, so I'm not worried at the minute.
