    QPR 0-0 Bolton

    Lee Blakeman
Commentator on BBC Radio 5 Live

Jack Bonham is playing superbly well in the Bolton goal, twice saving to deny Richard Kone in the space of two minutes.

The first with his legs from close range, the second stopping him 1 on 1 low down to Bonham’s right.

    Great goalkeeping.

    Southampton 1-1 Stoke City

    Dan George
BBC Sport England at St Mary's

Well that goal has slightly stunned the St Mary's crowd.

The Stoke supporters chant "who are ya" from their away end across from me.

At first glance that seemed to be poor defensively from Southampton.

It's brilliant response from Stoke though after going behind and they now look to be pushing for a second.

    Derby 1-1 Cardiff

    Iwan Roberts
Former Wales striker on BBC Radio Cymru

Carlton Morris was too strong for Perry Ng and Derby deserve to be level.

  4. 'Wolves look defensively sound'published at 15:29 BST 22 August

    Preston 0-1 Wolves

    Alan Kelly
Former Preston keeper on BBC Radio Lancashire

I'm looking at Wolves and they look so defensively sound and hard to break down.

As soon as they win the ball they have the options on the counter. Mane and Lopez both instigating a change of pace. Very quick.

  5. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:28 BST 22 August

    QPR 0-0 Bolton

    Jack Bonham AGAIN.

Richard Kone might have had a hat-trick already and gets in behind the defence only for the Trotters keeper to deny him with a strong right hand when clean through.

    How is this 0-0?

  6. goal

GOAL: Southampton 1-1 Stokepublished at 15:27 BST 22 August

    Ethan Galbraith (26 mins)

    All-square!

Summer signing Ethan Galbraith bags his first for his new club since joining Stoke from Swansea in the summer.

Good finish from the former Manchester United man after being teed up by ex-Saint Sam Gallagher.

  7. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:27 BST 22 August

    QPR 0-0 Bolton

Jack Bonham with another fine stop as Richard Kone fired in a close-range effort from Ilias Chair's ball across the face of goal.

    Breathless stuff at Loftus Road.

  8. goal

GOAL: Derby 1-1 Cardiffpublished at 15:27 BST 22 August

    Carlton Morris (26 mins)

The talisman levels it for Derby.

A long ball into the box finds the head of Carlton Morris and when it drops, he turns to hook it into the net.

A first of the season for Morris.

  9. CLOSE!published at 15:26 BST 22 August

    Blackburn 0-1 Middlesbrough

Luke Ayling has denied a certain equaliser with a brilliant clearance off the line as Ryoya Morishita had volleyed Harry Pickering's cross past Radek Vitek.

  10. Postpublished at 15:25 BST 22 August

    Swansea 0-0 Sheffield United

    Gareth Vincent
BBC Sport Wales at the Swansea.com Stadium

We are still waiting for a first genuine chance in this game but, after a scrappy opening, it is Swansea who are starting to ask a few questions.

The decent contingent of Blades fans are doing their best to drive Chris Wilder's team on, but it is the home crowd who can take more encouragement from the opening quarter of the contest.

  11. CLOSE!published at 15:24 BST 22 August

    West Ham 0-1 Charlton

Charlton on the front foot again as Sonny Carey drives forward before drawing a save from Mads Hermansen.

The Addicks won the last encounter with West Ham 4-0 19 years ago... they have begun this game like they are in the mood for a repeat.

  12. goal

GOAL: Wrexham 1-1 Watfordpublished at 15:23 BST 22 August

    Danny Imray (22 mins)

    All square.

Kieffer Moore provides the cross and Danny Imray, via a deflection converts.

Just the response the home side needed.

  13. Nothing the keeper can dopublished at 15:22 BST 22 August

    Derby 0-1 Cardiff

    Iwan Roberts
Former Wales striker on BBC Radio Cymru

The pass is perfect from Ronan Kpakio to Cian Ashford, who passes the ball into the corner past Jacob Widell Zetterstrom - he can’t do anything about it.

  14. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:21 BST 22 August

    West Ham 0-1 Charlton

You'd think West Ham would be piling on the pressure but it's Charlton who have come close to doubling their lead as Miles Leaburn does well to hold the ball up after Kyle Walker-Peters concedes posession and drives forward before firing in an effort which clips the top of the bar on its way over.

  15. 'Wolves look very organised'published at 15:21 BST 22 August

    Preston 0-1 Wolves

    Andy Mutch
Former Wolves striker on BBC Radio WM

Wolves look very, very organised at the moment. The pass selection has been spot on as well. A really strong start.

The defence are working very hard off the ball as well. The tackling and chasing is commendable.

  16. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:20 BST 22 August

    Southampton 1-0 Stoke City

Southampton defender James Bree is shown a yellow card for a poor foul on Sorba Thomas.

  17. goal

GOAL: Derby 0-1 Cardiffpublished at 15:20 BST 22 August

    Cian Ashford (19 mins)

    Against the run of play?

Having watched their goalkeeper make three very good saves, Cardiff get their noses in front.

Cian Ashford is left on his own from about 12 yards and beats Jacob Widell Zetterstrom.

  18. CLOSE!published at 15:20 BST 22 August

    Blackburn 0-1 Middlesbrough

Rovers trying to get back on terms swiftly but Oladapo Afolayan's cross from the byline finds Ryoya Morishita who can only blaze over Radek Vitek's bar from the edge of the box.

  19. Postpublished at 15:19 BST 22 August

    Southampton 1-0 Stoke City

Stoke City debutant George Hirst goes for goal but his effort is charged down by defender Nathan Wood.

  20. Postpublished at 15:18 BST 22 August

    Derby 0-0 Cardiff

Nathan Trott is seeing far too much of the action for the liking of Cardiff.

The visiting goalkeeper stops an effort from Corey Blackett-Taylor after the Derby forward had beaten two players to create the chance.
