  1. YELLOW CARDpublished at 16:11 BST 22 August

    West Ham 0-1 Charlton

First caution of the game goes to Max Kilman as ref Andrew Kitchen brandishes the yellow card after his late challenge on Miles Leaburn.

  2. Postpublished at 16:10 BST 22 August

    QPR 0-0 Bolton

The Rs are back on the front foot and it needs a crucial block from trotters defender Lewis Brunt to deflect a Kealey Adamson strike over Jack Bonham's bar.

  3. YELLOW CARDpublished at 16:09 BST 22 August

    Southampton 1-1 Stoke

Ryan Manning is booked for the home side for a foul on Bae Jun-Ho.

  4. goal

GOAL: Derby 2-2 Cardiffpublished at 16:09 BST 22 August

    Bobby Clark (49 mins)

    What a game this is.

Neat work from Corey Blackett-Taylor eventually finds Bobby Clark and he makes no mistake.

    We're back level.

  5. goal

GOAL: Blackburn 1-1 Middlesbroughpublished at 16:07 BST 22 August

    Andri Gudjohnsen (49 mins)

    Now then...

Blackburn have begun the second half brightly and won a flurry of corners and from the latest curler from Harry Pickering, Andri Gudjohnsen makes it three goals in three games as his header flicks off a defender and loops into the net.

    Probably just about deserved too...

  6. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:06 BST 22 August

    West Ham 0-1 Charlton

A change at the break for West Ham as Lewis Orford has been sent on in place of Mohamadou Kante as Nuno Espirito Santo tries to find a way back into the game.

  7. Postpublished at 16:06 BST 22 August

    Southampton 1-1 Stoke

Djibril Soumare hits a shot from range for the away side that goes narrowly wide of the post.

  8. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 16:05 BST 22 August

    Blackburn 0-1 Middlesbrough

Will Lankshear goes down in the Rovers box under pressure but ref Tom Reeves is unmoved by Boro's appeals for a penalty.

  9. 'Wolves didn't create many chances'published at 16:04 BST 22 August

    Preston 0-1 Wolves

    Alan Kelly
Former Preston keeper on BBC Radio Lancashire

As much as Wolves dominated that early period, they didn't have too many chances. They have talent and physicality but Preston gave them so many counter attacking opportunities.

  10. KICK-OFFpublished at 16:03 BST 22 August

Eight games kicked off at 15:00 BST

    We go again, people.

There are some potentially huge headlines looming in just over 45 minutes from now, but can they be rewritten on the pitch in the mean time?

Only one way to find out...

You just know Bolton are going to nick this 1-0 in injury time

    Dave, Bolton

Sheffield United need to step up. Bamford needs to get more involved. Hopefully second half better.

    Tracey, Mansfield

Surely the pressure is already on Nuno

    Mark, Hexham

Watford might be making a reasonable start to the season so far after a game and a half against two decent teams. However, with the injuries they are getting already they will struggle as there is no squad depth.

    Stuart, Surrey

  12. Postpublished at 15:58 BST 22 August

    HT: Wrexham 1-1 Watford

    Chris Wathan
BBC Sport Wales at the Racecourse Ground

Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson making a point or two to the match officials as both sets of players leave the field.

Difficult to see what he might be complaining about - and you'd wonder if his real frustration will be saved for his players in the dressing room.

The hosts have been a bit sloppy here, but could easily be ahead after Imray scuffed against the post following his leveller. Kieffer Moore went close just before the break, too.

    Nicely poised game at half-time.

  13. 'Very good first half'published at 15:56 BST 22 August

    HT: Preston 0-1 Wolves

    Andy Mutch
Former Wolves striker on BBC Radio WM

It has been a very good first half performance, for me. A really good opportunity at the end of the half, Gomes won the ball, got in behind and it was a great stop from the goalkeeper. Unfortunately Mane couldn't get the rebound in.

But overall, very good down the left and the right going forward and a great first 45 minutes.

  15. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:52 BST 22 August

    Preston 0-1 Wolves

Fer Lopez's fine turn, run and shot separates the sides at the break.

Callum Lang has had a header cleared off the line for Preston.

  16. Postpublished at 15:51 BST 22 August

    HT: QPR 0-0 Bolton

    Lee Blakeman
Commentator on BBC Radio 5 Live

QPR must be wondering how they’re not at least a goal clear. Six efforts on target to Bolton’s 0.

Kone and Vale have looked excellent. Bolton hugely grateful to goalkeeper Jack Bonham

  17. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:51 BST 22 August

    Wrexham 1-1 Watford

Luca Kjerrumgaard silenced the home crowd with an early header before Danny Imray levelled matters.

The Wrexham man has also hit the post.

  18. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:50 BST 22 August

    Derby 1-2 Cardiff

    Entertaining stuff.

Cian Ashford gave Cardiff the lead before Carlton Morris levelled.

Yousef Salech restored the lead for the visitors who have also seen a Rubin Colwill shot tipped onto the bar by Jacob Wildell Zetterstrom.

Cardiff goalkeeper Nathan Trott has denied Corey Blackett-Taylor on three separate occasions while Bobby Clark has had a shot cleared off the line.

  19. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49 BST 22 August

    QPR 0-0 Bolton

Somehow it's goalless at the break.

Bolton keeper Jack Bonham is the main reason for that, denying Harvey Vale and twice thwarting Richard Kone who seemed destined to score.

The Trotters have had a couple of glimpses too.

The least 0-0 game there may have ever been, but here we are...

  20. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49 BST 22 August

    Swansea 0-0 Sheffield United

    Gareth Vincent
BBC Sport Wales at the Swansea.com Stadium

The Blades have come into this contest, and Swansea are fortunate not to be behind after things all went a little ragged for the home side for a minute or two,

The big chance to open the scoring fell to Callum O'Hare, whose measured effort came back off the bar.

It is difficult to call which way this game may go.
