Yorkshire 390 v Essex 171 & 22-4 f/o
A bit of swing towards the left-handed Paul Walter, who plays and misses outside off with his feet anchored to the crease.
This is a tough watch for any Essex fans watching.
Runs for Walter driving through cover. Four of them in fact.
Four more driving with a thick outside edge wide of the slips and into deep third.
Kuldeep Yadav to bowl to Luc Benkenstein - on a hat-trick.
Notts 277 & 27-3 v Hants 304
With 1,200 runs behind him this season, Joe Clarke is unlikely to be daunted by this situation.
And when Eddie Jack overpitches, he strokes the ball through the covers for four runs.
The young bowler responds with a good delivery which beats the edge.
Gripping contest at Trent Bridge!
Leicestershire 10-2 v Somerset (Target: 523)
We are underway in the afternoon session in Leicester.
Somerset made in-roads before lunch in their hunt for ten wickets and have five more sessions to claim the remaining eight.
Leicestershire, who need 513 more runs to win, have it all to do to keep title-chasing Somerset out.
Lancashire 29-3 v Glos - target 248
JT Langridge has one ball left to bowl in his fifth over to begin the afternoon session.
And it's confidently driven by Rocky Flintoff for four.
Lancashire are going to need plenty more shots like that.
Robinson lbw b Sharma 4 (Durham 252 & 328-6 v Middlesex 203)
Middlesex take the new ball and it helps them make a breakthrough in the second over with it.
Naavya Sharma's delivery seems to skid on Ollie Robinson quicker than he was expecting and it thuds into the bat-pad area and Harry Duke completes the catch.
The decision is pad first, the batter is out and it's a first wicket of the innings for Sharma.
Derbys 205-5 & 300 v Kent 219
The afternoon session is set to unfold in Division Two.
Kent need these remaining five wickets pronto, while Derbyshire will be content with their lead thus far but will be eager to ensure that extends well past 300.
Sussex 393 v Surrey 80-3
Ryan Patel faces off spinner Jack Carson first up this afternoon on 19.
Ben Foakes has 14. The current partnership is worth 33.
Yorkshire 390 v Essex 171 & 14-4 f/o
It's been a horror show for Essex for much of the time since Yorkshire recovered from 139-5 on Tuesday.
Since then Essex have slumped - losing four wickets following on plus the last three from their first innings today.
Paul Walter has seen batters come and go and he faces seamer Matthew Revis on nine, having faced 37 balls.
The new batter is Luc Benkenstein, after Matt Critchley was bowled by Kuldeep just before the break.
Kuldeep took two in two before lunch and he'll be on a hat trick whenever he bowls next.
Notts 377 & 22-3 v Hants 304
So how are Notts going to play this now?
They are 95 ahead but in all likelihood will have to bat into tomorrow and then hope their bowlers can finish the job for them.
To do that, though, they are going to need to build some partnerships.
Joe Clarke and Jack Haynes, their two most productive Championship batters this season, are now together in the middle.
Slater b Jack 2 (Notts 377 & 22-3 v Hants 304)

Movement away off the seam, Ben Slater's off stump is flattened and Eddie Jack now has 3-9.
Are we watching Nottinghamshire's dream of a title double start to fade?
Durham 252 & 323-5 v Middlesex 203
Luke Hollman whizzes through the four balls of his over that was halted by the wicket of Ben McKinney before lunch.
Ollie Robinson picks up a single to get off the mark and move the lead to 372.
Image source, Getty ImagesWarwickshire captain Ed Barnard praised his side's "relentless" bowling display after they beat Glamorgan in Cardiff on Wednesday to move top of Division One - pending the results for Somerset and Notts.
Barnard took 5-13 as Glamorgan were dismissed for 65 in their second innings and said: "It was nice to get some rewards, I think I've bowled well all year and we've got a great attack with a great spinner, we're in a fortunate place at the moment.
"It feels really exciting (to be top for the time being), we're trying not to think about it too much and obviously there are two massive games to go."
Warwickshire are away to Essex next week before finishing the season by taking on Leicestershire at Edgbaston.
More from you on the international prospects of Yorkshire's George Hill....
I hope that if Hill does get called up, there is a clear plan for his development at a critical career juncture as opposed to being an expensive water carrier!

Durham 252 & 322-5 v Middlesex 203
With the matches at lunch on day three, it's a good time to get the calculators out and look at a few scenarios.
All the key games in Division Two are in the third innings so we know the bonus-point scenarios for the sides in the promotion race.
Durham have collected four, Northants also have four but Kent only got three.
WIN - If Durham beat Middlesex and they currently have a 371-run lead, they will go up.
DRAW - Durham would collect 12 points for a draw. That would be enough if Northants fail to win or Kent lose.
LOSE - Even a defeat for Durham would not matter if Northants lose to Worcestershire.
Given we are on day three of game 12 in a 14-game season, it really is a matter of when, and not if, Durham are promoted.
Leicestershire 157 & 10-2 v Somerset 363 & 316-5 dec - lunch
Anthony Gibson
BBC Radio Somerset
Everything has gone to plan for Somerset this morning.
Quick runs to set Leicestershire a daunting target of 523, a century for the New Zealander Henry Nicholls, and then, crucially, two big wickets - Rishi Patel and Rehan Ahmed - in seven overs before lunch.
Both were snaffled by Craig Overton at third slip off Lewis Gregory.
Image source, ShutterstockGlamorgan will spend the next few days looking for answers after what head coach Richard Dawson described as an "unacceptable performance" against Warwickshire at Sophia Gardens.
The Welsh county lost in two days by an innings and 257 runs after being bowled out for just 69 and 65 - the third defeat in their last four Championship games.
They next face Surrey at The Oval on Tuesday and Dawson told BBC Sport Wales: "If you want to learn, you've got to be honest with yourself, look in the mirror and work out what you need to do, then work forward rather than burying your head in the sand.
"We've got to be honest, front up and go again because we've got another massive challenge next week. This isn't just a player thing, this is me and the coaching staff, all of us as a group. We've got to put the work in and go in with a clear head next week."
As a Warwickshire supporter I must confess I was very surprised at the one sided nature of the game against Glamorgan. At Edgbaston I thought they were a very good side. But, we'll take the points and hope that Somerset and Notts slip up.

Essex would appear to have given up any thoughts of Div 1 survival. Maybe a plan to rebuild a weak team.
Stuart, Woodbridge
In an era where England appear to finally be waking up to a varied attack and not just express pace and bounce, George Hill must surely be on the radar as a long term Stokes replacement.
Jonathan, Northumberland
There seem to be quite a few George Hill 'boosters' out there.

Image source, ShutterstockIt feels apt to include an image of Matty Hurst's leg-stump in tatters after JT Langridge's brilliant yorker as the players depart for lunch at Old Trafford.
Harry Singh and Keaton Jennings have followed since and Gloucestershire have one hand on victory in this meeting of the bottom two.
They diligently added 51 to their overnight 118-8 with Kamran Dhariwal reaching 66 and they have made the new ball count as Lancashire's pursuit of 248 has begun very badly.
