    Warwickshire threw down the gauntlet to title rivals Somerset and Nottinghamshire with their emphatic two-day win over Glamorgan in Cardiff.

    It is now up to them to respond and Somerset will be confident of a win at Leicester as they start day three 372 runs ahead.

    Defending champions Notts met with with stern resistance from Hampshire at Trent Bridge and have a lot of work to do if they are to emerge with a victory.
