  1. US draw level with Europe on 17published at 17:07 BST 11 September

    Hull/Woad v Noh/Yin A/S (17)

    Leaderboard

It's a putting contest on the 17th. Charley Hull really needs this one to drop. She drained one of similar length on the 15th. Can she do it again?

It's uphill. Good pace. Slightly left. Par.

Lottie Woad has a chance of a three from 18 feet. Doesn't hit it.

Here's Yealimi Noh from five feet to win the hole and send the match down the last all square... nailed.

The contact was decent, and it lands beautifully on the green. What a shot that is from Noh. She has put it within five feet.

  3. US claw a hole backpublished at 17:02 BST 11 September

    2UP Rhodes/Nadaud v Corpuz/Kim (15)

Nastasia Nadaud is first to putt and her birdie try grazes the right edge. Mimi Rhodes from a slightly different angle, also leaves her ball on the green.

Auston Kim putts first for the American pair. Drains it. And then gives the shush finger to the lips to the crowd. Two down with three to play though.

    1UP Hull/Woad v Noh/Yin (16)

Lottie Woad is a little aggressive with her second into 17 but Charley Hull finds the green and will have a 20-footer for birdie.

Yealimi Noh is thrashing out of the sand and she plays a worldie, her ball landing a couple of feet short of the hole and spinning back to around five feet. Big chance to level the match.

    3UP Rhodes/Nadaud v Corpuz/Kim (14)

On to the par-three 15th, all over water.

There are two European balls already on the green, both about 15 feet from the hole.

Allisen Corpuz likes her tee shot though. And so she should. It's a pin-seeker and comes to rest a couple of feet from the hole. Auston Kim follows her in close to about eight feet.

But the Europeans have birdie looks too...

    1UP Hull/Woad v Noh/Yin (16)

Yealimi Noh fires her drive down the 17th and finds a bunker. Angel Yin is right and Lottie Woad is quick to help her shout 'fore' as the ball disappears into the heather.

Woad then splits the fairway and Charley Hull flirts with the right edge before coming to rest on the short stuff. Advantage Europe.

  7. 'We bicker like sisters'published at 16:50 BST 11 September

Team USA's Alison Lee and Megan Khang, speaking after their 5&3 victory in the fourballs.

Lee: "All day we were hitting a lot of great shots. I feel like we did the same thing - once we saw a couple drops, I feel you couldn't stop us for sure.

"It means a lot. I am playing in the Solheim Cup, it means so much. It was hard to get here. A lot of long days trying to practice and sleepless nights. Trying to be the best mum I could be as well. It is just awesome."

Khang: "We always joke that we bicker like sisters. Angela [Team USA captain] actually asked if we liked each other. We never get too down on ourselves."

  8. Europe stay in commandpublished at 16:49 BST 11 September

    3UP Rhodes/Nadaud v Corpuz/Kim (14)

Auston Kim fires her second shot on the 14th into the heart of the green and she's going to have a good look at birdie. And boy do the American pair need one.

Mimi Rhodes will putt first though, from around 25 feet and her distance is supreme but the ball finishes a couple of inches to the right of the hole.

Nastasia Nadaud from the same line as Rhodes. Similar outcome.

Will Kim claw a hole back? From around a dozen feet... up and out of a little dell and the ball wanders left. Hole halved.

    1UP Hull/Woad v Noh/Yin (16)

Yealimi Noh, who has been doing a lot of the heavy lifting in this American pairing, matches Lottie Woad and will be putting from the lower level of this tiered green for a three.

With Charley Hull and Angel Yin both chipping in close, it'll be down to these two to decide the hole.

The 25-year-old US player is up first but that never threatens. Woad could guarantee half a point for Europe if this goes in...

But it slides past on the right and the hole is halved.

  10. USA aheadpublished at 16:47 BST 11 September

    Ciganda/Ramirez v Korda/Coughlin 1UP (13)

Oh dear, Julia Lopez Ramirez misses a short one on 13 which costs Europe the hole, and the lead, in this anchor match as America win three on the spin to go from two down to one ahead.

The Spaniards are wobbling and they probably could do with skipper Anna Nordqvist or some vice captains out there for some support right now as this match was in their grasp but has now slipped away.

Nelly Korda in the greenside bunker on 13. She splashes it out and spins it quickly, but she is shy of the hole. She has 12 feet to save par.

  15. Postpublished at 16:41 BST 11 September

    1UP Hull/Woad v Noh/Yin (15)

Brilliant. Lottie Woad takes on the green with a hybrid her second on the par-five 16th and runs her ball on to the putting surface to get a decent look at an eagle.

Angel Yin, who gets a free drop from the penalty area down the right of the fairway, feeds her ball up that side but it's just wide of it's intended target and stays to the side of the green along with Charley Hull's ball.

  16. First blood USApublished at 16:37 BST 11 September

    Koerstz Madsen/Boutier v Khang/Lee 5&3 (F)

    Overall score

There it is, Megan Khang and Alison Lee take out Nanna Koerstz Madsen and Celine Boutier with a comprehensive 5&3 victory.

Khang has been in woeful form of late but she just comes alive in the Solheim Cup - hence why Angela Stanford gave her a pick.

Khang has now won six straight Solheim Cup matches and eight out of her last nine, giving her an overall 8-3-3 record in the event - and that's even with a winless rookie appearance in 2019.

If you look at her record since then, she's only lost once in now 11 matches with a record of 8-1-2. That's incredible by anyone's standards.

  17. Rookies roarpublished at 16:34 BST 11 September

    3UP Rhodes/Naduad v Corpuz/Kim (13)

Europe's rookies are roaring and Mimi Rhodes tickles in a birdie putt over on the 13th green that raises the volume of the home fans.

It's enough to putt them three up and in sight of the winning line in this contes with holes running out for Allisen Corpuz and Auston Kim

If this match goes back to all square, then it would be criminal after being three-up.

    Koerstz Madsen/Boutier v Khang/Lee 4UP (14)

Megan Khang clinches another hole and that will be that for this match as the Americans go four up with four to play.

It was a competitive match at the start and the Europeans played the better golf, but Nanna Koerstz Madsen's swing deserted here and Celine Boutier could only hold them off for so long.

This will be a full American point soon.
