    Birmingham v Brentford (20:00 BST)

    Brentford

Brentford were beaten by Man City in the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup last season, but Keith Andrews thinks he has a squad well-equipped for cup competitions.

"We got to the quarter-finals of the League Cup and were beaten by Man City," he said.

"We tried to find the balance between how many substitutions we made, how many players rotated in and out on any given week, and then the challenge of the schedule and the depth of your squad.

"But now we feel like we're in a good place to attack the domestic competitions on a really good level."

Tom Watson receives the ball central and has a drive at goal but it's pretty comfortable for Christian Walton.

  13. Postpublished at 19:53 BST 25 August

    Ipswich 0-0 Leicester

Leicester don't play like your typical League One side. Russell Martin loves his teams to keep the ball as much as possible but is it more a case of overplaying?

    Stoke 0-0 Hull

First real chance on goal goes Hull's way as David Akintola charges into the box, but his shot is too close to the goalkeeper.

  16. HALF TIMEpublished at 19:51 BST 25 August

    HT: Cardiff 0-1 Norwich

    George Rees-Julian
    BBC Sport Wales

It's half-time here at the Cardiff City Stadium, and Norwich will definitely be the happier side as they head down the tunnel for the break.

They could have doubled their lead when Liam Gibbs went close minutes after Mathias Kvistgaarden's opener, but Cardiff have goalkeeper Nathan Trott to thank.

Cardiff have had flashes going forward, but a long-range effort from David Turnbull, which fizzed just over the crossbar, is the closest they have come.

    Sheff Wed 0-1 Wolves

Wolves are handed the dream start at League One Sheffield Wednesday as a Sil Swinkels own goal has given the Championship side the lead after three minutes.

  18. Postpublished at 19:50 BST 25 August

    Ipswich 0-0 Leicester

Ipswich are guilty of overplaying this time as Christian Walton plays it straight to Tom Watson, who can't hit the target.

Before I finish writing about Taiwo Awoniyi's goal, the Coventry striker wins a 50-50 and puts Jack Rudoni through - and he makes no mistake.

  20. Postpublished at 19:49 BST 25 August

    Ipswich 0-0 Leicester

Leicester play themselves into trouble by playing it around the back.

It drops to Chuba Akpom about 20 yards out but he drags it wide.

    Warning signs for the Foxes.
