Might be an Amorim situation at Forest for Glasner. So utterly rigid in his system despite lacking the players to utilize it.

  4. 'Poor decision making' from Forestpublished at 22:13 BST 25 August

It was poor decision making all night for Forest, there was no fluency. It was bitty and then it became one dimensional. It's not like Leeds were pressing them to make the mistake, it was just rushed.

When Leeds got the ball, they attacked with pace. James on the right hand side stayed out wide, so he caused problems.

I was expecting better from Forest. There's a new manager, players coming in, it's important that they have a reasonable start.

I'm not expecting them to win every game, but it should be positive.

Leeds deserved it tonight. Forest lacked confidence on the ball. I was looking for a bit more cohesion.

  6. 'Ability in the squad is unbelievable'published at 22:07 BST 25 August

    FT: Nottingham Forest 0-2 Leeds

Leeds defender Joe Rodon, speaking to ITV Sport: "In the first half, there were a lot of good chances. We know that it's a difficult place to come, overall I'm happy to come back and win."

On Daniel James: "Injuries are a part of the game, we know what he's capable of, he showed his quality and had a great finish. We need everyone, it's a long season, the ability in the squad is unbelievable, we need everyone together.

"We want to change the mentality, grow again as a group and win as many games as we can. The signs have been top, we want to continue with this momentum into next weekend."

Birmingham can lose to a good Premier League team in Brentford but it's the way you lose.

Where was the fight in the second half?

To lose 6-1 is always disappointing and Birmingham have got big ambitions. They want to progress in cups and be like Brentford in a couple of years time.

    It's been a disappointing night.

Brentford were outstanding, they've recruited ever so well in the summer.

I think Keith Andrews is a fantastic young manager and learning and growing all the time.

The players are buying into what he is doing and they are going to go from strength to strength.

    Great performance from Brentford.

There are three more Premier League sides involved tomorrow - Newcastle, Tottenham and Everton.

And on Thursday Chelsea and Fulham are both in action.

None of those are in all-Premier League ties.

    FT: Nottingham Forest 0-2 Leeds

    Brian Laws
Former Nottingham Forest defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Forest have got a long way to go to get things right here. There's a lot of things not right at the moment, they lack ideas, cohesion and the ability to pass to one another consistently.

There's a lot of things wrong tonight that Glasner will not be happy about because that is not good enough. Leeds have come here on two occasions and been comfortable, they haven't had to work hard at it. Forest have to take accountability for that.

Never have been and never will be a fan of three centre backs. Forest were pretty solid with a settled back four. Unless Glasner has a rethink of his system, I don’t think this is going to end well.
