Spurs just don’t seem to want to play in the final third. No one is running off the ball or looking to get behind or looking to get a cross in. It’s possession without purpose.

The crowd are trying their best but there's nothing coming the other way.

Lucas Bergvall bends in a decent-looking cross and Savio tries to knock it back across goal at the far post but Jordan Pickford is there to gather.

That could have gone through Kinsky's legs. He made himself big, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has a little bit of a window there. I think Micky van de Ven comes across as well so Kinsky was able to block the other half of the goal and they get it absolutely spot on.

We've seen some goalkeeping nightmares over the years, that definitely could have added to the list for Kinsky. He stood up big though to stop the shot.

Re. Luke - of course we need time, the season isn’t decided after 4 games. A reminder Spurs had 3 wins, 1 loss, scored 8 and conceded 1 in our first 4 games last season and we all know how that ended…

    Lewis, London

Luke in Toronto. Arsenal could’ve sacked Arteta when they were languishing behind Spurs and seemingly going nowhere. They didn’t and now they’ve far surpassed us. The club has been lacking any sort of direction for years. The last thing we need is more change.

Goodness me, almost a gift from Spurs.

Antonin Kinsky plays a ball through to Sandro Tonali in front of goal and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is there to pounce on it. Luckily for Kinsky the Everton midfielder is a bit indecisive and the keeper recovers to make the block.

It was crying out for some changes from Spurs. Kudus coming on as well is going to add some real pace. An extra dimension to this Spurs attack going forward.

Spurs have all worked hard, I don't think there's any questioning of the effort they've put out there, it's just like we said before the final delivery in the box hasn't been on it.

The second half they haven't been on the same tempo, they've lost a bit of momentum. It just feels like it's rife now to make some substitutions.

I know Spurs’ players will take time to gel but there’s something more going on at Spurs. I think the club is rotten in more places than just the squad. I feel a relegation would have been the right reset for Spurs.

Everton will just be looking to take the sting out of the game. It's looking good for David Moyes' men at the moment.

Tottenham have lost their spark and they need it back badly. They're getting worse as the game goes on. So many misplaced passes from the home side.

Once again Everton are looking for Tyrique George down the left and he tries to drift in but by the time he gets the cross away Micky van de Ven has recovered and makes a good defensive intereption.

Everton win a corner from Rodrigo Bentancur's defensive header.

I'm sorry, I do not buy "we need time" rhetoric. Look at all the clubs in the premier league with significant squad upheaval, Newcastle, Ipswich, Hull... It's just the next excuse after "it's Levy's fault".

I can understand the frustration for the Tottenham fans. They showed some great play in the opening 45 minutes, just without any end product.

Delivery into the box has been nowhere near good enough. And this one was a very tame shot at goal, Jordan Pickford saved it very comfortably.
