Leicester will be hoping their new summer signings Warren O’Hora and John Lundstram can mix things up for them.

They are both on for their debuts this afternoon and what a job they've got to introduce themselves to the away support.

As for the home fans, they will get to watch Kyle Wootton make his 200th appearance for the club.

Arguably the standout League Two fixture of the day comes from the LNER Community Stadium where York host Swindon.

The Robins were second in the table at the start of the day having won two of their past three games.

But they head north to face a newly-promoted side who have settled back into league football very well after a decade away.

After replacing Stuart Maynard with Scott Lindsey, the Minstermen are ninth and have won their past two home games.

Bromley go to the seaside to take on Blackpool and Reading visit Cambridge United.

Newly promoted MK Dons, a lot of people's tips for promotion in the summer, host Peterborough United and Doncaster head to South London to take on Wimbledon.

You can see the new owners at Sheffield Wednesday really mean business.

Just walking into the ground you can see a vast difference to this famous old stadium and work is happening at a pace to bring it up to a high standard and restore it to its former glory.

On the pitch, Henrik Pederson who was last season scrambling to put a team out, has been helped with a raft of new players and all of them have gelled pretty quickly. They sit top of the League and are looking to make it four wins on the spin.

Today's visitors, Wigan Athletic, have tasted the big time themselves but are bottom of League One and searching for a first win of the season.

Gary Caldwell has already spoken about how he enjoys coming here and he has already made it clear to his players how difficult today's task is.

But this is the EFL and we all know it has a habit of serving up the unexpected so there is hope for the visiting fans today.

Huddersfield Town head coach Martin Drury reacts to his Manager of the Month award.

Head coach Martin Drury is having a great time at Huddersfield Town this season.

Unbeaten after five games, second in league and just one point off the top spot, earning himself the EFL's manager of the month award for August - there isn't much to grumble about.

But today they visit an opponent who in this very fixture routed them 4-1 last season and the sting of that haunting memory still lingers amid a thriving dressing room.

"We have had a relatively positive start and I really like the feel around the place," Drury said.

"I love the players, I love how they are going about things everyday and tomorrow will be a real test.

"It is one that we look forward to because that was a really difficult day at the back end of the season. We are cautious because we know the challenge but we are excited to embrace it."

Sheffield Wednesday are enjoying their best start to a league campaign in terms of points for exactly 30 years.

The Owls sit top of the tree after five matches and following a hard fought 2-1 win at Peterborough United seven days ago.

They host Wigan for the first time in over four and a half years in a top meets bottom clash having beaten the Latics in eight of their past 10 league meetings.

Gary Caldwell's men are still licking their wounds from a damaging 4-0 defeat at home by Stockport County last Saturday in a Greater Manchester derby which was over as a contest after the 20th minute mark.

It signalled their joint-worst start to a season this century having failed to score in three of their past four games.

Can they prove to be an old-fashioned coupon buster today?

  8. Leicester's problems 'run deep' - can they solve them?published at 14:39 BST 12 September

    Stockport v Leicester (15:00 BST)

Russell Martin looking concernedImage source, Getty Images

There has been so much said after Leicester's latest League One loss against Oxford put them down in 18th place, just a single point above the relegation line.

Foxes captain Harry Souttar shouldered the blame on his and his team-mates shoulders, while former Leicester defender Conor Coady claimed the problem must "run deeper" at the club than just laying blame at the feet of the players and their boss, Russell Martin.

Former Foxes winger Matt Piper labelled last week's outing "a sackable performance" for Martin and though Piper feels Martin should be getting more time, the manager is feeling the weight of a disgruntled fan base heavily, this week stating criticism was getting personal.

This afternoon they face a hard foe in Stockport, who are aiming for the apex of the table with a home victory. Winning won't alleviate the pressure for the Foxes but it will certainly start to help staunch the bleed of a club seemingly in freefall.

With those entertaining early games done and dusted, let's take a look at what else is coming up this afternoon.

Starting with a big game for Leicester and Russell Martin...

  10. 'Rovers players look well beaten'published at 14:29 BST 12 September

    FT: Grimsby 2-0 Bristol Rovers

    Ed Hadwin
    Commentator on BBC Radio Bristol

There goes the final whistle. There's some pretty tired looking Rovers players out there and they look well beaten.

They need to make sure they don't make similar mistakes in their upcoming fixtures.

  11. FULL-TIMEpublished at 14:25 BST 12 September

    Grimsby 2-0 Bristol Rovers

A huge day for Grimsby, who not only remain unbeaten but return to winning ways against the league leaders.

Kieran Green and Geza David Turi scored the goals but in truth it could have been more.

Steve Evans' side were not at the races and must pick up the pieces after Riley Harbottle was stretchered off and Tommy Leigh received a red card.

  12. FULL-TIMEpublished at 14:25 BST 12 September

    Leyton Orient 2-3 Wycombe

Full-time and it's a first win of the season for Wycombe who climb themselves out of the bottom four for the time being at least!

What an entertaining match it has been as well. Jayden Wareham grabbed the opener but Orient were pegged back after Jack Grimmer headed into his own net.

Fred Onyedinma gave the Chairboys a half-time lead which was extended moments after the break when defender Dan Harvie headed home from a corner.

Jaze Kabia provided a consolation goal but Wycombe clung on to a precious three points in interim boss Tom Hounsell's first game in charge.

  13. 'Bradford have finally won at Meadow Lane'published at 14:25 BST 12 September

FT: Notts County 0-1 Bradford City

    Jamie Raynor
BBC Radio Leeds' Bradford City commentator

The full-time whistle is blown. What an underwhelming finish to an absolutely brilliant game of football - the second half in particular.

Bradford City have finally won at Meadow Lane - the 18-year wait for a league victory here is finally over.

It's a fourth league win of the season for City and takes them up to second in the table for the time being.

  14. FULL-TIMEpublished at 14:24 BST 12 September

    Crawley 1-3 Cheltenham

A comfortable afternoon in the end for Cheltenham despite going behind.

Charlie McCann's double either side of Andreas Weimann's header turned the game around after Dylan Morgan put Crawley ahead with his first goal for the club.

Up to second for Steve Cotterlll's men, buoyed further by Bristol Rovers' defeat at Grimsby.

  15. FULL-TIMEpublished at 14:22 BST 12 September

    Notts County 0-1 Bradford

Notts County's unbeaten start to the season comes to an end at a controlled Bradford's hands.

Neither side took charge in the first but the Bantams came out resolute, earning their winner through a smart arrowed strike from defender George Pratt.

The visitors weren't able to charge for a second but County did little to pose a threat for a comeback, despite a late disallowed goal for offside that lacked any real quality.

    One to forget.

  16. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 14:22 BST 12 September

    Notts County 0-1 Bradford

Meadow Lane explode as the ball bulges the net for Notts County after a scrappy free-kick.

Not to be though as the goal gets chalked off for offside.

  17. Postpublished at 14:22 BST 12 September

    Leyton Orient 2-3 Wycombe

On the counter-attack, Wycombe look for a fourth but Jack Grimmer's shot is straight at Nathan Baxter.

Another 3 points coming for Cheltenham Town. Hitting the dizzy heights of second while Robbie Savage can’t buy a win at them down the road

    Robert, Cheltenham

I can't believe I'm saying this, but Cheltenham scoring for fun! So nice to see a change after being constant relegation favourites and getting previous seasons off to a poor start. Hopefully we'll keep this up for the whole season.

    David, Northwich

It shows how poor the standard is of League 2 this year if Cheltenham are currently sat in 2nd place!

    Dan, Sheffield

As a man from the south, seeing Cheltenham doing well is really warming my heart. Obviously I support Liverpool normally but I’ll support Cheltenham when they’re winning!

    George, Cheltenham

  19. INJURY TIMEpublished at 14:21 BST 12 September

    Leyton Orient 2-3 Wycombe

We will have five minutes at the end of this one.

Orient need to get the ball first if they are to threaten a late comeback.

  20. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 14:20 BST 12 September

    Leyton Orient 2-3 Wycombe

Really good from the visitors who have taken the sting out of things in the last couple of minutes.

Luke Leahy is on for the final moments, replacing the recently booked Cauley Woodrow.
