    Reading 3-4 Luton

    This game had EVERYTHING.

Heartbreak, hope, and euphoria all mixed together.

    Jack Marriott x 3

    Kasey Palmer x 2

But the only one which mattered in the end was from Gideon Kodua.

    A classic.

  2. goal

GOAL: Reading 3-4 Lutonpublished at 14:29 BST 15 August

    Gideon Kodua (90+6 mins)

OHHHHHHHH MY GOODNESS, GIDEON KODUA HAS ONLY GONE AND DONE IT!

The Reading players collapse to their knees as the point was snatched away in the dying seconds.

    Oxford 2-2 MK Dons

More Oxford consternation at the final whistle, which is blown as they win a corner, but the time is more than up and the referee doesn't have to add time on for the set-piece to be taken.

A poor first half from the U's, despite taking the lead through Mark Harris, as MK Dons deservedly turned the game on its head (literally, in terms of how both goals were scored) via Charlie Goode and Aaron Collins.

But Oxford were much better in the second half, with substitutes Gatlin O'Donkor and 18-year-old Mo Missanga, on his senior debut, both looking bright, as was Aidomo Emakhu.

MK Dons had the chance to make it 3-1 when Nathaniel Mendez-Laing raced clear but he decided, bafflingly, to square it.

And that decision was to cost the visitors, as Ciaron Brown got an equaliser deep into stoppage time.

    Notts County 1-1 Leicester

Best game I have seen for months.

After weathering an early storm City got themselves in front with Jayden Joseph lashing home his first Foxes goal from the edge of the box, but Conor Grant came off the bench to stroke home the equaliser nine minutes from time after fellow-sub Emile Acquah's diving header came back off the post.

Both sides had chances to win it, Ollie Cooper's deflection coming back off the underside of the City bar in the first half, but it's a point apiece as both sides begin life in League One after a while away.

    Newport 3-0 Rochdale

The final whistle at Rodney Parade brings down the curtain on an outstanding opening day performance from Newport.

Goals from Kyle Cameron, Shaquille Gwengwe, and then Yahya Bamba put a brutal end to the Rochdale party.

Their first day back in the football league has ended with a mighty thud.

  6. Postpublished at 14:24 BST 15 August

    Notts County 1-1 Leicester

Leicester having all the ball, but most of it is in midfield as we enter the third of four added minutes.

Harry Souttar has taken a blow for City in a clash with Nick Tsaroulla and will need some treatment to add to the tension.

  7. 'Sloppy from Notts'published at 14:23 BST 15 August

    Notts County 1-1 Leicester

    Mark Stallard
Ex-Notts County striker on BBC Radio Nottingham

Notts County's first bit of sloppiness as they give the ball away far too cheaply and Leicester come close to going back in front.

  8. goal

GOAL: Oxford 2-2 MK Donspublished at 14:23 BST 15 August

    Ciaron Brown (90 mins)

Oxford look like they have snatched a point!

In the fifth minute, of six to be added on, Mo Missanga makes a physical nuisance of himself, Gatlin O'Donkor gets to the byline and cuts the ball across for centre-back-turned-emergency-forward Ciaron Brown to turn home.

    Late drama!

  9. INJURY TIMEpublished at 14:22 BST 15 August

    Notts County 1-1 Leicester

City trying to get something going as we enter FOUR added minutes at the end of this one.

Plenty of time for a dramatic winner.

Tom Watson's low strike from the left of the box has been deflected behind for a City corner.

    Nerves in the stands...

    Oldham 2-0 Port Vale

It's over at Boundary Park and Oldham send Port Vale back to Staffordshire with nothing to show for their efforts.

It was an slow opening half an hour, but that was until an Oldham free-kick fell to Calum Kavanagh, who was able to fire the ball past Jackson William-Smith.

He double the score in the 75th minute after converting Mike Fondop's attempt at the spectacular.

What a showing from the Latics.

What a showing from Calum Kavanagh.

  11. 'MK Dons managing the game well'published at 14:21 BST 15 August

    Oxford 1-2 MK Dons

    Nathan Cooper
    BBC Radio Oxford commentator

MK Dons are managing things well at the moment as we go into stoppage time. It is perfect game management from the away side.

  12. goal

GOAL: Newport 3-0 Rochdalepublished at 14:20 BST 15 August

    Yahya Bamba (90+1 mins)

    Game, set, and match.

Yahya Bamba fires the ball in from the edge of the box, despite the keeper getting a hand to it.

Rochdale's first day back in the football league ends with a mighty thud.

  13. Postpublished at 14:19 BST 15 August

    Oxford 1-2 MK Dons

If MK Dons, don't win this, Nathaniel Mendez-Laing may be asked some questions.

He escapes clear on goal but shuns the one-on-one opportunity for a poorly hit square ball towards Ryan Wintle, and the momentum has gone.

  14. Postpublished at 14:18 BST 15 August

    Notts County 1-1 Leicester

Not sure the scoring's done here, just going to say.

Five minutes and added time to come.

County back on the front-foot as Nick Tsaroulla wins a free-kick from Sammy Braybrooke.

Tsaroulla takes it himself but it's too close to Alex McCarthy who claims with ease.

  15. INJURY TIMEpublished at 14:17 BST 15 August

    Oldham 2-0 Port Vale

Four added minutes at Boundary Park.

  16. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 14:16 BST 15 August

    Notts County 1-1 Leicester

City's Liam Cullen comes off after a rather quiet debut with new striker from Slovenia Admir Bristric coming on for the closing stages.

  17. 'The least that Notts deserve'published at 14:15 BST 15 August

    Notts County 1-1 Leicester

    Mark Stallard
Ex-Notts County striker on BBC Radio Nottingham

The first goal for Notts in League One, in 11 years.

It is absolutely deserved. It is the least they deserve in fact and can either side go onto grab the winner?

Conor Grant was quick to react and latched onto the ball and steered it home from close range.

  18. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 14:14 BST 15 August

    Notts County 1-1 Leicester

Scott Robertson comes on for Notts with Dean Campbell heading off in the aftermath of that equaliser.

  19. Postpublished at 14:14 BST 15 August

    Oxford 1-2 MK Dons

Oxford are piling on the pressure as we tick into the final five minutes of normal time, with the MK Dons defence working hard to keep them at bay.

Mark Harris gets a shot away from the edge of the box which is deflected narrowly wide and Cameron Brannigan curls an effort over the bar.

  20. goal

GOAL: Notts County 1-1 Leicesterpublished at 14:13 BST 15 August

    Conor Grant (81 mins)

    They deserve it too...

Emile Acquah's diving header after some very slack defending from City from a right-wing cross comes back off the base of the post but Conor Grant has followed it in, takes a touch inside a defender and slots past Alex McCarthy from close range.

    Game ON.
