    Middlesex 114-4 (target 255) v Durham

Durham introduce their leading wicket-taker in the tournament, Shaf Ghafari, and the spinner is promptly pulled for four by Nathan Fernandes.

It's a shot that appears on course to be safely gathered by David Bedingham on the boundary until it spins, bounces off the turf and wrong-foots him completely.

Middlesex won't complain - they need those runs, but they also need to build another partnership if they're going to get close to that 255 target.

  2. Postpublished at 19.1 overs

    Leics 303-7 v Notts 91-1

That has to be almost two wides! Alex Green sends one down that barely pitched on the cut strip.

He comes back with a peach that beats George Munsey all ends up.

Munsey has seven from 28 balls and is really struggling to get his timing right.

    Falconer run out 31 (Middlesex 108-4 v Durham - target 155)

Caleb Falconer sweeps against Kasey AldridgeImage source, Shutterstock

A rush of blood to the head of Caleb Falconer - and how costly might that prove for Middlesex?

The teenager sweeps Callum Parkinson for a single that was never there, sets off and by the time Nathan Fernandes sends him back, it's too late.

Quick-thinking Kasey Aldridge whips the ball back to wicketkeeper Ollie Robinson, who takes off the bails and Durham have their fourth wicket.

Luke Hollman comes in with Middlesex still 147 short of their target.

  4. Postpublished at 18 overs

    Leics 303-7 v Notts 89-1

Alex Green is into the attack and starts with a loose first over which gave too much width.

Two were penalised by the umpire with Freddie McCann helping himself to a couple of whipcrack drives through cover which Rehan Ahmed stopped - one brilliantly.

McCann gets his four with an edge which flies high over vacant slip area.

  5. 50 runs

50 partnership for Fernandes and Falconerpublished at 17 overs

    Middlesex 101-3 (target 255) v Durham

Testing over by Callum Parkinson, with five dot balls before Caleb Falconer smuggles a single to backward point off the last to bring up the 50 partnership for this pair.

Falconer has scored 26 of them, with Nathan Fernandes unbeaten on 38.

  6. Postpublished at 16 overs

    Leics 303-7 v Notts 81-1

The run rate had dipped with the introduction of Rehan Ahmed's spin but Freddie McCann is starting to line him up.

A clipped four as he drifts down the leg side is followed by two solid drives either side of the bowler.

McCann has moved to 27 as Notts take eight off the over.

  7. Postpublished at 14 overs

    Middlesex 90-3 (target 255) v Durham

Two boundaries from this latest Kasey Aldridge over as Nathan Fernandes punches a short ball beyond mid-off and Caleb Falconer follows suit with a pull shot that takes him on to 19 from 14 balls.

Fernandes is on 34 at the other end and this partnership is looking more and more as though it may hold the key to this semi-final.

  8. Postpublished at 14 overs

    Leics 303-7 v Notts 70-1

The pace of the wicket particularly against slow bowling seems difficult for the batsmen to gauge with a few grabbing the pitch a bit.

Freddie McCann has a huge hoik at the final ball but is through the shot long before the ball arrives.

  9. Postpublished at 13 overs

    Leics 303-7 v Notts 67-1

A big inside edge squirts past the stumps to square leg and a fourth single of the over goes to Notts.

That Rehan Ahmed strike has just put the brakes on as George Munsey and Freddie McCann try to build.

  10. Postpublished at 12 overs

    Middlesex 74-3 (target 255) v Durham

Ben Stokes is given a rest after taking 1-21 in his first five overs and Durham skipper Kasey Aldridge brings himself on as first change.

Nathan Fernandes steers Aldridge neatly through mid-off for four and then pulls him for what ends up being another boundary as Luke Robinson misfields.

Required run-rate is certainly not a problem for Middlesex at this stage - but keeping their seven remaining wickets intact is the key.

    Martindale lbw b Rehan 43 (Leics 303-7 v Notts 63-1)

And first ball he has got the man in form.

Ben Martindale took a step forward and tried to drop the ball down into the leg side but has missed it.

Rehan Ahmed fires this down straight and there is not too much doubt that that would have hit the stumps.

Ben Martindale has given them a great start with 43 in 38 balls but he is gone.

And he finishes with five dots to complete a wicket maiden.

  12. Postpublished at 11 overs

    Leics 303-7 v Notts 63-0

Tom Scriven ends the over by beating everything as the ball ricochets off Ben Cox for a single bye.

Rehan Ahmed is into the attack with a bit of spin.

  13. Postpublished at 10 overs

    Middlesex 55-3 (target 255) v Durham

Nathan Fernandes glances Ben Stokes for a leg-side boundary to end the powerplay and bring the target down to exactly 200 from 40 overs.

That's a scenario Middlesex would be more than happy with - but for the fact they have three men back in the shed already.

  14. Postpublished at 10 overs

    Leics 303-7 v Notts 60-0

All very much on target for Notts who are aiming to make the final at the back end of September at their home ground Trent Bridge.

The are scoring at a shade over a run a ball which is way ahead of the rate needed at this stage.

Second ball of that over Ben Martindale (42) pings a late cut through backward point with one foot off the ground giving it the flamingo, KP-style.

    Lovely stuff.

    Cracknell c Bedingham b L Robinson 18 (Middlesex 51-3 - target 255) v Durham

    Great catch by David Bedingham!

Joe Cracknell had just crashed Luke Robinson for successive cover boundaries - then he pulls the next delivery and Bedingham leaps to his right at midwicket to grasp the ball cleanly.

It's a second wicket for Robinson and brings Caleb Falconer to the crease for his first innings of this tournament.

  16. Postpublished at 8 overs

    Middlesex 39-2 (target 255) v Durham

Ben Stokes with hands on his headImage source, Shutterstock

Durham are looking sharp in the field, but Middlesex are ensuring they keep the scoreboard ticking along - aided by a couple of leg-side wides from Ben Stokes.

Nathan Fernandes has just picked up a boundary, driving Stokes through mid-on - almost literally through mid-on as the fielder's fumble cost Durham three runs.

  17. 50 runs

50 up for Nottspublished at 7.5 overs

    Leics 303-7 v Notts 50-0

A single from Ben Martindale brings up the half century partnership for the Outlaws offering conclusive proof in number form of what a good start this has been.

Martindale looks like he has been netting all morning not fielding and while Freddie McCann has not looked in quite the same rhythm he is getting there.

  18. Postpublished at 6 overs

    Leics 303-7 v Notts 48-0

That is an imperious hit from Freddie McCann who stands and holds the pose after walloping Ben Green over long on for six.

Right from the middle of his bat. Bet he never felt a thing.

Continues this promising start from the visitors.

  19. Postpublished at 6 overs

    Middlesex 24-2 (target 255) v Durham

Nathan Fernandes cuts a ball awayImage source, Shutterstock

Joe Cracknell is given a warm welcome by Ben Stokes, who digs one in short and the ball thuds into his ribs.

Cracknell has managed to get off the mark with a single, though, as he and Nathan Fernandes attempt to rebuild after losing those two early wickets.

  20. Postpublished at 6 overs

    Leics 303-7 v Notts 42-0

Sharp bit of running as Freddie McCann is struck on the pad and Ben Martindale calls him through for a single as Ian Holland was still appealing unsuccessfully.
