Well, those were two semi-finals packed with tension, drama and some excellent cricket!

Congratulations to Leicestershire and Middlesex, who will contest the final of the One-Day Cup at Trent Bridge on September 20.

And commiserations to Nottinghamshire and Durham, who missed out... but the consolation for them - and indeed for all the other counties - is that red-ball cricket returns later this week!

We'll have all the action from the next round of the County Championship, starting on Thursday from 10:30 BST, so make sure you join us then.

Until then, thank you for your company, all your messages, and goodbye for now!

I’ve been saying this for the last month… as a Middlesex fan I have a feeling that I will wake up and realise it was just a dream! Great result and superb improvement from our T20/CC form 👏👏👏

LEICS WIN BY 23 RUNSpublished at 48.6 overs
    Breaking

    Hutton c R Patel b Holland 1 (Leics 303-7 v Notts 280)

Leics squeeze the last breath of life out of this Notts reply as Brett Hutton gets a big top edge which is taken by Rishi Patel at third man.

Credit to the Foxes for staying in the hunt when Notts were beginning to pile on the runs but the visitors will surely look back at a calamitous run out off a free hit as the turning point in this game.

Freddie McCann was going strong on 64 but a desperate piece of cricket saw them gift a wicket away.

After that Leics applied a tourniquet to the Outlaws effort with a steady string of wickets, refusing to allow Notts to get ahead of the required run rate.

Alex Green bowled some wayward stuff but he also took 4-40 and did more than most to break partnerships.

A missed opportunity for Notts possibly but Leics fully deserve their place in the final at Trent Bridge in September.

  6. wicket

WICKETpublished at 18:30 BST 16 August

    Pennington c Shaikh b Holland 1 (Notts 278-9, still need 26 runs)

Leg bye and a single off the first two balls before a huge hoik from Dillon Pennington goes into the hands of Hamza Shaikh at deep midwicket with the third.

Just nine balls left and the size of the task is just too big now.

  7. Postpublished at 48.1 overs

    Leics 303-7 v Notts 276-8 (require 28 runs in 12 balls)

Ian Holland is back on for the final over at the Pavilion End with Dillon Pennington on strike. Can the big man be the hero?

He has a swing and it comes off his pads for a single.

    Maybe not?

  8. wicket

    Farhan Ahmed c Holland b A Green 21 (Notts 276-8, still require 28 runs)

Big outside edge over where the slips would have been and Farhan Ahmed beats Sheridan Gumbs coming from wide third man.

But Alex Green gets his fourth and second in this over as the batsman holes out at mid on.

    Notts look cooked here.

  9. Hollman makes history for Middlesexpublished at 18:20 BST 16 August

    Middlesex 255-8 v Durham 254-7

Luke Hollman celebrates with arms in the airImage source, Getty Images

Luke Hollman's unbeaten 83 from 100 balls was, incidentally, his best performance in List A cricket - and one that Midldlesex supporters will remember for a long time.

They can now look forward to a first List A final since Mike Gatting's team defeated Derbyshire to win the Refuge Assurance Cup in 1990.

  10. wicket

WICKETpublished at 18:20 BST 16 August

    Verreynne c Rehan Ahmed b Green 43 (Notts 271-7, require 33 off 16 balls)

Hard not to think Notts have messed up here and not just with the ridiculous run out off a free hit.

Farhan Ahmed has not been able to hit out and Kyle Verreynne has paid the penalty holing out at deep midwicket trying to release the pressure.

Dillon Pennington produced some lower order power hitting against Yorkshire on Friday and he perhaps would have been a better choice to get them close.

He might still do it of course but this is slipping away from Notts.

  11. Postpublished at 47 overs

    Leics 303-7 v Notts 270-6 (require 34 from 18 balls)

Rehan Ahmed with his last over keeps it tight with six singles.

He finishes with 1-53 but he has bowled better than that sounds.

Notts need one big over from the final three.

Is it this one from Alex Green?

  12. MIDDLESEX BEAT DURHAM TO REACH ONE-DAY CUP FINALpublished at 48.4 overs
    Breaking

    Middlesex 255-8 v Durham 254-7

Luke Hollman is the Middlesex hero!

He sweeps Callum Parkinson for four to clinch victory with eight balls unused and complete an incredible turnaround from 145-7.

What a game of one-day cricket!

  13. Postpublished at 46 overs

    Leics 303-7 v Notts 264-6 (require 40 runs from 24 balls)

Four singles from the first four balls as Ian Holland gives them nothing early.

Singles along the ground and a strange lack of urgency from Notts who are wondering who to target for one big over you suspect.

Not Holland by the looks of things.

A dot ball with the fifth delivery as Holland nails a yorker.

Farhan Ahmed has a swish at the last delivery which squirts fine wide of fine leg for four.

  14. Postpublished at 48 overs

    Middlesex 251-8 (target 255) v Durham

Luke Hollman has opportunities to take the single off Ben Stokes - but he turns them down and then nudges a boundary through the vacant slip area to bring the target down to five.

A single from the final ball of the over means Middlesex are potentially just one shot away from a first List A final since 1990...

  15. Postpublished at 18:09 BST 16 August

    Leics 303-7 v Notts 256-6 (48 runs required from 30 balls)

Rehan Ahmad returns and keeps it tight, restricting Notts to five singles. Kyle Verreynne manages to pick out a gap and run two on the final delivery.

Seven from the over. Tense stuff as the floodlights kick in.

  16. Postpublished at 47 overs

    Middlesex 246-8 (target 255) v Durham

You can feel the tension around this ground...

Luke Hollman sweeps Colin Ackermann for two boundaries - and suddenly Middlesex need just nine to win from the last three overs!

Can Hollman complete a remarkable comeback by the home side?

    Durham absolutely blowing it.

    Martin, Iteland

I can see why you'd say that, Martin, but credit to Middlesex, and Luke Hollman and Tom Helm in particular, for getting them this close...

  18. Postpublished at 44 overs

    Leics 303-7 v Notts 249-6 (55 needed from 36 balls)

A well taken two on the first, a wide, a single, a dot and then a no ball as Ian Holland oversteps.

The last one brought a wicket for Leics, this one brings a single as Kyle Verreynne hits it down to the long on boundary.

    Nine from the over.

  19. Postpublished at 46 overs

    Middlesex 237-8 (target 255) v Durham

Luke Hollman edges another boundary off Ben Stokes and then scampers a single to leave Noah Cornwell with two balls of the over to negotiate.

Cornwell does just that - and the equation is now 18 to get from 24 balls.

This is building up into a thriller... which way is the pendulum going to swing?

  20. Postpublished at 43 overs

    Leics 303-7 v Notts 234-6 (require 65 from 42 balls)

Farhan Ahmed is the new batsman for Notts and his first over is to face older brother Rehan Ahmed.

Five singles from the over and Leics look to be in the driving seat here but one big over could tilt it again.
