Middlesex v Durham 226-6
Naavya Sharma is back into the attack and, with two more overs remaining in his allocation, you'd think he'll bowl through to the death.
No boundary from Sharma's eighth over, although Durham do pick up seven from it. They have just four left to advance their total beyond 250 - and more, ideally.
Shaikh b Patterson-White 105 (Leics 254-5 v Notts)
A wild swish with a flat bat from the Leics man and Liam Patterson-White ends a very decent knock from Hamza Shaikh.
That was a slow burner of an innings from Shaikh who has given his side a very solid platform on which to build in the last five overs.
It was less than a run a ball to the halfway mark but nearly caught up with his 104 coming in 109 balls with seven fours and two sixes.

The Middlesex leg-spinner takes his second caught and bowled in as many overs - and this one's far trickier than the first, with Ollie Robinson driving low and Hollman leaping to his left to clasp the ball just above the ground.
Durham captain Kasey Aldridge is next in.

After seeming in full control Notts are starting to look a little ragged now. Hamza Shaikh dabs one through third man area and the dive goes over the ball rather than stopping it.
Liam Patterson-White comes back well enough but the Outlaws need to take a wicket. Ideally the one of the man who is now eight runs away from his century.

The left-hander pops back a return catch and his innings of 80 from 93 balls is brought to an end.
Ollie Robinson marches out to the middle to join Colin Ackermann.
Middlesex v Durham 207-4
Noah Cornwell is back on for Middlesex, despite that whack on the shin he took earlier from Ben McKinney's drive.
But Durham continue to accumulate, with Colin Ackermann capitalising on the variable outfield - and fielders' understandable reluctance to commit early to a bouncing ball - to turn ones into twos.
Ackermann has 38 now, with Will Rhodes on 79.
Leics 214-4 v Notts
Farhan Ahmed is carved away by Hamza Shaikh just fine of the dive of short third man for four and now Ben Cox ramps a second boundary off the over with the third ball.
Another single makes it 4141 before Ahmed tucks up Shaikh to get a dot in the book. Back in business with the final ball which is lofted back over the bowler's head for four.
Shaikh is up to 76 (93 balls) and Cox has eight (from seven balls)
Leics 200-4 v Notts
Liam Patterson-White tees that up for Hamza Shaikh and he lofts a six iron over long off for a max.
A dozen off the over from the spinner and they are in a decent position if they can keep it up.
That also brings up the 200 for the Foxes.

Colin Ackermann is looking more settled now, picking up a boundary off Tom Helm courtesy of a fumble on the rope and Middlesex could do with breaking this partnership, which has now passed 50.
Leics 188-4 v Notts
Farhan Ahmed is on for his penultimate over and there are 12 to go.
Five an over from here brings 246; six an over 258; seven an over 270 and eight an over 282.
Leics have a set batsman and six wicket in hand. Is 300 a possibility from here?
Two singles from the over so probably not.

Nick Kelly gets a slower ball outside leg and tries to help it behind square for four but underedges it on to his leg stump.
A crucial breakthrough to split a partnership of 117 between Kelly and Hamza Shaikh.

Bearing in mind The 100 and England omissions etc, Notts normally have the strongest line up (or one of them) most seasons. Unfortunately they underachieve every year... however this time they're hopefully going to rectify this irritating habit?

His half century has contained two fours and two sixes.

Naavya Sharma finds a bit of extra bounce and Colin Ackermann does well to fend it off for a single as Durham continue to try and set themselves up for a big push in the final 10 or so.
Will Rhodes brings the visitors a very welcome boundary, latching onto a Sharma half-volley and drilling it down the ground to advance to 68.

And a long over comes to an end with a injury break as Dillon Pennington looked to get a hit on the head chasing a catch, a Hamza Shaikh half century, six runs and two wides.

The ball falls short and wallops the prostrate Notts man in the mush for his efforts. Physios are on and checking whether he is okay but he seems to be.
Shaikh gets two runs and has his half century (from 72 balls with just two fours). Dangerous period of the game for Notts now.
