Helm has advanced into double figures on 10, while Luke Hollman has 35 not out and Middlesex need 86 more from 16 overs. Durham need three more wickets.

McCann run out 64 (Leics 303-7 v Notts 161-3)
Image source, SHutterstockIan Holland oversteps to give a free hit but Notts have really shot themselves in the foot here with a laughable run out.
The only way you can be out from a free hit is to to be run out but after Haseeb Hameed skies a catch to Stephen Eskinazi at mid off Freddie McCann and his captain manage to end up running to the same end.
Hameed looked to have called through for a second but changed his mind as Eskinazi caught and sent the ball back to Jonny Tattersall behind the stumps.
McCann was left stranded with no chance, having to turn around despite being three quarters of the way to a second run.
He turned and was run out by half the track.
Leics 303-7 v Notts 159-2
On the old 'double the score from 30 overs' benchmark, Notts are cruising here and the generally muted reaction of the crowd to the action seems to suggest they feel this is slipping away.
Middlesex 157-7 (target 255) v Durham
Luke Hollman, fast running out of partners, decides it's time to go on the counter-attack as he launches Shaf Ghafari for a leg-side four and then a similar shot that sails just over the rope for a maximum.
Hollman is 32 not out, while Tom Helm gets off the mark with a single. If Middlesex need something to cling to - and they do at the moment - the target is now in single figures!

Toby Roland-Jones is a tad unlucky as he chops the spinner down and the ball bounces back up to dislodge a bail - but they all count. And Durham are now counting seven as they begin to close in on that Trent Bridge final.
Tom Helm is out there now for Middlesex.

The all-rounder is 21 not out, with Middlesex needing 110 from 20 overs - and it'll need something special to make that happen.

Haseeb Hameed has swung hard at that delivery from Rehan Ahmed and looks to have connected with the ball then with wicketkeeper Ben Cox in his follow through.
Cox goes down like, well, like he's been hit with a cricket bat.
Meanwhile the ball skies up to the cover region where Stephen Eskinazi should take the catch.
He doesn't, spilling it into his boot and kicking it towards the boundary in the process.
It doesn't go for four but the umpire appears to call that a dead ball.
Ben Cox is going to be replaced by Jonny Tattersall who is getting pads on. Cox is on his feet but he is not going to continue.

And another goes for well above the asking rate as Ajaz Patel's over costs nine.
That said, how has he not been given an lbw on the last delivery?
It turns sharply and, well, hits Haseeb Hameed bang in front of the wickets.
Looking at that replay you wonder how that was not given but it wasn't so on we go.
Middlesex 140-6 (target 255) v Durham
Durham's spinners are really turning the screw now, with Shaf Ghafari keeping up the pressure by sending down an over that goes for just a couple of singles.
At the other end, Colin Ackermann has now taken 2-7 in his four overs and Middlesex's target is still 115 away with just four wickets in hand.

Good over for Notts as a slightly scruffy six from Rehan Ahmed goes for 11.
Haseeb Hameed has rattled along to 25 from 16 balls and Freddie McCann is going better now with a batting partner putting pressure on the bowlers than when George Munsey was stuck in a rut.
McCann is getting looser ball to pick off as this partnership builds nicely.

Second wicket for Colin Ackermann!
Zafar Gohar goes for the sweep, top-edges - and it couldn't really have been simpler for Ollie Robinson behind the stumps.
Toby Roland-Jones is next in for Middlesex, with 120 still needed - rather more than he, and they, would have liked at the fall of the sixth wicket.

A gentle sweep off Ajaz Patel for a single brings up a half century for Freddie McCann as Notts continue their smooth progress.
It has not been the most consistently convincing innings from the Notts batter but has contained the odd really well-timed hit.
Notts remain on target at the halfway stage needing 179 off 25 overs (150 balls) which, with eight wickets in hand, looks well within reach.
Still a couple of wickets would change all that.

Alex Green has bowled some good balls in his four overs but that last one was not up there on his showreel.
Short, not quite quick enough, and it is despatched forthwith by Haseeb Hameed who bullies out of the ground over midwicket.
That was a shot and half. Massive. Notts should get nine for that.
Middlesex 129-5 (target 255) v Durham
Halfway in this second innings and Durham look comfortably on top now - even though Middlesex have scored more than half of the runs they require.
Colin Ackermann's third over goes for just two and, with figures of 1-6 to follow his unbeaten 71, the veteran is making a good case to be player of the match in this one.

Luke Hollman dances down the track to Shaf Ghafari, driving a straight boundary which brings a round of applause from the home crowd.
Hollman has nine, with Zafar Gohar on two - but Middlesex are going to need a lot more from one or both of them to get close to this target.

The Notts man then edges Alex Green just to the left of Ben Cox behind the stumps, the ball racing away for four. Had they had a slip that would have been the end of a scratchy innings from McCann.
As it is, it is a boundary and the scratching goes on.
Fernandes c McKinney b Ackermann 44 (Middlesex 121-5 - target 255) v Durham

Nathan Fernandes, who had batted so well for 44 from 48 balls, steers Colin Ackermann to deep square leg and Ben McKinney races in to take an excellent diving catch.
Middlesex are five down now and less than halfway to their target. Zafar Gohar is the new batter.
