Killeen c Yates b Woakes 0 (Essex 134 & 178-8 v Warwickshire 191)
A flurry of Essex wickets after tea!
First, George Bell was trapped lbw for 13 by Manav Suthar, who now has four wickets, before Luc Benkenstein fell in the following over, bowled by Chris Woakes for 21.
Woakes struck again as new batter Mitch Killeen could only last three balls before edging to Rob Yates at slip - and we know Yates is as safe as they come in the slips.
So all of a sudden from being 167-5 at tea, Essex are 178-8.
Their lead is 121.
Sussex 198-4 v Notts 240
This could be a defining session in the defence of their title for Nottinghamshire.
They need to take some quick wickets to wrestle back control of this match from Sussex, who have made a strong start to their first innings to cut the Notts lead to 42.
Mukesh Kumar will bowl the first over after tea.
Surrey 115 v Glamorgan 132 & 262-3
Dan Lawrence twirls through an over of off-spin and Glamorgan content themselves with a couple of singles.
They lead by 279. Four more overs to the new ball.
Leicestershire 244 v Hampshire 214 & 158-1
Nick Gubbins is forward to spinner Ajaz Patel, defending compactly into the off side.
Down the track now!
The sixth ball is thumped straight over the bowler's head and down the ground for four.
Yorkshire 212 & 39-3 v Somerset 201
Craig Overton is into his seventh over and Sam Whiteman defends into the leg side.
An attempted push into the off side and the ball runs off an inside edge through mid-wicket for one.
The lead is 50.
Gloucestershire 173-7 v Middlesex 326
Daz Ahmed and Sai Kishore survive the final 16 overs of the afternoon session which ends with Gloucestershire just four runs away from ensuring they cannot be asked to follow-on.
The home side were in trouble at 100-5 and 128-7 but the pair have shared an unbroken stand of 45 for the eighth wicket.
Ryan Higgins and Seb Morgan have been the pick of the Middlsex attack, with three wickets each.
Ahmed will resume 36 not out, with Kishore on 18.
Leicestershire 244 v Hampshire 214 & 153-1
Tom Scriven runs in to bowl to the left-handed Nick Gubbins from the Bennett End.
Gubbins drives on the up to mid on. No run.
The fourth ball is full and driven through extra cover for four.
The innings 150 is up in the 43rd over.
Surrey 115 v Glamorgan 132 & 257-3
Six overs to the new ball and it can't come soon enough for Surrey.
James Taylor feeds Asa Tribe's favourite shot straight after tea and is clipped to the mid-wicket boundary.
The Glamorgan opener is now 109 not out.
Northants 188-4 v Derbyshire 372
Northants lost openers Ricardo Vasconcelos and Luke Procter during the afternoon but both stuck half-centuries to get their team off to a good start in their pursuit of batting points.
Saif Zaib (46) and Gus Miller (20) continued the good work with a partnership of 50 runs before both lost their wickets in the space of eight balls to Nick Potts who has taken 2-5 in 3.1 overs since coming in as an injury replacement for Ben Aitchison.
Northants will be kicking themselves about those two dismissals during the tea break with those turning it from their session into Derbyshire's.
Leicestershire 244 v Hampshire 214 & 142-1
Nick Gubbins will face the first ball of the session on 66 not out.
Left arm spinner Ajaz Patel is the bowler.
Toby Albert is at the non-striker's end on 21.
Yorkshire 212 & 38-3 v Somerset 201
Craig Overton is in the attack and Matthew Revis is on the back foot to push the ball through the off side for one.
Four runs for Sam Whiteman with a flashing drive wide of the two slips and behind point for four.
Pitched up and beaten on a defensive push outside off.
A clip off the pads takes the ball behind square leg for a couple.
Hampshire are 282-4 in the 48th over against Surrey at the Utilita Bowl, with Maia Bouchier on 110 not out. She has been well supported by Freya Kemp (77) and Abi Norgove (49 not out) as they look to win a place in Saturday's final against The Blaze.
Kent 214 v Lancashire 161 & 142-5
Kent have hit back after a strong start to the second innings by Lancashire and this really does hang finely in the balance at tea on day two.
After a 71-run partnership between Michael Jones, who made 54, and Marcus Harris, Lancashire have slipped from 109-2 to 142-5.
Harris fell for 48 shortly before the break, which was a big breakthrough for Kent.
You'd think we will at least get a third day though, as Lancashire lead by 89 runs with five wickets remaining.

I genuinely don’t remember a title race this brilliant for a long time. As a Bears fan, I’d obviously love another flag, but having been to Taunton and know how excellent their fans are, wouldn’t begrudge Somerset their first ever County Championship.

Leicestershire 244 v Hampshire 214 & 144-1
A single to Nick Gubbins straight away after tea on the leg side.
Single to Toby Albert.
Tom Scriven will bowl from the other end.

Image source, ShutterstockGlamorgan opener Asa Tribe reached his first county century of the season when he leg-glanced James Taylor for his 11th four off the 200th ball he received.
It was a patient but hugely valuable knock, the first hundred for a Glamorgan player since the win over Surrey back in June.
Kiran Carlson- who had managed 17 in his previous seven innings- weighed in with 57 as he shared a stand of 114 with Tribe.
Quite the turnaround for the struggling Welsh side and their dejected supporters, while Surrey must be wondering why their bowlers have not been able to find anything like the menace they did yesterday.
A visitors’ lead of 270 already poses final innings headaches for the hosts.
Glos 171-7 v Middx 326
Birthday boy Luke Hollman completes his first over of the Gloucestershire innings and there are three more to be bowled before tea.
They have partially recovered from 128-7, thanks to Daz Ahmed and Sai Kishore, who are 35 and 18 not out respectively.
Miller c Bashir b Potts 20 (Northants 187-3 v Derbyshire 372)
A blow for Derbyshire as news that the impressive Ben Aitchison will play no further part in the contest after picking up a groin injury.
But his replacement has made a good start.
Nick Potts, in just his third over, picks up the wicket of Gus Miller who drives it straight to mid-wicket.
Yorkshire 212 & 31-3 v Somerset 201
Matthew Revis is on his toes, pushing Jake Ball off the back foot to cover but there's no run.
Bounce on a length now and Revis sways out of the way, keeping his hands low.
Run scoring looks fiendishly hard now - though it did ease for Somerset with the older ball this afternoon.
Revis plays and misses a wider ball outside off.
Maiden over.
