Yep, as suspected, the impact was outside the line of off stump so Ali Usman remains.

The on-field umpire's maintain their 100% record on decisions being upheld on review in this match.

I think this might have hit him outside the line.

England go upstairs for an lbw shout against Ali Usman but I think they'll be struggling.

Looked outside the line to me.

The weather doesn't know what it's doing here. There's sun but it's not out for long. I can't see much blue sky around.

Steady on, Nick! England have got a good group of fast bowlers but I'd argue all of them have still got something to prove at the highest level - even if that is just proving they have the resilience to play Test after Test over a sustained period.

Australia have four of the 10 top in the ICC Test bowling rankings - and one of them doesn't even get in the XI! South Africa have a strong attack, so do India and New Zealand's seamers looked pretty handy earlier this summer.

So not quite yet, I'd say.

Josh Tongue is probing away but Muhammad Rizwan, despite not looking in complete control, middles a straight drive back past the bowler for four.

A thick inside edge that squirts towards square leg brings a single to end the over.

It's been hard to find a hole in England's performance over the past few days.

    Excellent over from Jofra Archer.

A maiden in which he sends the ball whistling past the Ali Usman's outside edge three times.

Archer thought he'd found the edge with the second of those but no one behind the stumps was interested, they knew it had flicked the back leg rather than the bat.

Joe Root's first time captaining again and things have gone from good to better for him. England have had a complete performance so far, they'll want to get it wrapped up today.

Josh Tongue has bowled so well today, he looks dangerous. England will be looking to hit Muhammad Rizwan on the pad here.

That was Josh Tongue's first wicketless over of his last six.

Three singles form the over before Josh Tongue finishes with one that jags back sharply to discomfort Muhammad Rizwan.

The Pakistan batter keeps it out but England are still pushing hard.

Jofra Archer finds the edge of the bat again but Pakistan get some luck.

It flies just wide of the three slips and Muhammad Rizwan gets four for his troubles.
