    Mark Church
    BBC Radio London commentator

"You felt it had to be a good delivery to get through him."

    Simpson b Worrall 61 - Sussex 317-7 v Surrey

Dan Worrall is round the wicket and John Simpson pushes to Rahul Chahar at cover point. No run.

Out! Off stump knocked out of the ground.

That nipped back a long way up the slope to beat the inside edge with Simpson on the crease. Play that!

Simpson barely looked troubled for much of his inning, but now he makes way for Ari Karvelas.

    Kellaway b Hannon-Dalby 0 (Glam 69 & 47-5 v Warks 391)

We may have to mention that Queen song with the word 'dust' in the title again soon.

Olly Hannon-Dalby sends down a near yorker-length delivery which proves too good for Ben Kellaway - and Glamorgan have now lost their last four wickets for just five runs.

  4. 6 runs

Postpublished at 16:55 BST 9 September

    Worcs 200 v Northants 274-8

Not bad for a man with a sore finger.

Tom Taylor overpitches and Lewis McManus lofts the ball straight down the ground for a magnificent maximum.

He is now 22 not out - you can work out the Northants lead yourselves.

  5. Runs dry up at Headingleypublished at 16:54 BST 9 September

    Yorkshire 390 v Essex 44-4

    Jonathan Doidge
    BBC Radio Leeds cricket commentator

"Yorkshire are working hard to keep things dry, keep the pressure on."

  6. Postpublished at 16:53 BST 9 September

    Yorkshire 390 v Essex 44-4

    Flatter and shorter from Kuldeep.

Dean Elgar is across to the ball but cannot get it away through the off side and that's a fifth maiden for the wrist spinner.

  7. Postpublished at 16:50 BST 9 September

    Sussex 314-6 v Surrey

Dan Worrall is over the wicket to Jack Carson - who is forward to push a single through cover.

Single to John Simpson to deep cover.

Careful! Jack Carson is down on bended knee to try and flay the ball through the off side and the ball is taken low by keeper Ben Foakes.

  8. 100 runs

100 for Jake Lehmannpublished at 16:49 BST 9 September

    Notts 377 v Hampshire 241-6

    Jake LehmannImage source, Getty Images

It's an attacking batting stance from Jake Lehmann who is really in the groove and he cracks Olly Stone's delivery right back past him down the ground for four to reach his century in style.

That's Lehmann second century of the season and he has passed his previous high score for this campaign as well.

  9. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:49 BST 9 September

    Ingram c Yates b Barnard 5 (Glam 69 & 47-4 v Warks 391)

A loose drive from Colin Ingram and the ever reliable Rob Yates takes the catch at second slip.

Ed Barnard has his second wicket and Glamorgan's batting lineup needs to find some inner resolve to take this into a third day.

  10. Postpublished at 16:47 BST 9 September

    Yorkshire 390 v Essex 44-4

Kuldeep Yadav continues to work his magic and the Yorkshire faithful applaud a maiden over.

    Kuldeep has figures of 8-4-20-3.

Jack White replaces George Hill at the other end.

Luc Benkestein punches a ball into the off side - stopped by Sam Whiteman for no run.

Benkenstein gets two, turned into the leg side.

Essex remain precariously placed with 28 overs left in the day as it stands.

  11. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:47 BST 9 September

    Phillips b Balderson 16 (Lancs 134 v Glos 212 & 27-4)

He didn't get the hat-trick but George Balderson is proving virtually unplayable at the moment at Old Trafford.

An absolute beauty bowls Joe Phillips and he has 4-6 from four overs so far.

    Gloucestershire lead by 105.

  12. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:45 BST 9 September

    Carlson lbw Hannon-Dalby 11 (Glam 69 & 42-3 v Warks 391)

Big error of judgment from Glamorgan skipper Kiran Carlson, who shoulders arms and is lbw to one that cuts back off the pitch.

He isn't convinced - but has to go.

Seven wickets needed by Warwickshire - could they possibly bowl Glamorgan out in a session and get this over tonight?

  13. 'A really solid performance by Currie'published at 16:44 BST 9 September

    Notts 377 v Hampshire 238-6

Currie's done a really important job for them. In hanging around and staying with Lehmann and being there so they can avoid the follow on and they’re now 20 runs short of a bonus batting point that have been hard for Hampshire to get this year. It’s been a really solid performance by Currie.

George Hill of Yorkshire must be in contention to play for England very soon, a genuine all rounder. Playing excellent cricket this season.

    Gary, Hull

You're not the first person to make that recommendation, Gary.

Looks like Essex are going down......absolutely no substance to their batting.

    John, Norwich

  15. Postpublished at 16:41 BST 9 September

    Sussex 310-6 v Surrey

A leg side ball from Dan Worrall is glanced away fine by Jack Carson for four.

A testing over for the most part though, with deliveries bouncing and nipping away outside the off stump.

  16. Postpublished at 16:38 BST 9 September

    Yorkshire 390 v Essex 42-4

A bit full from George Hill and Dean Elgar drives the bowler down the ground for four.

He gets a single off the next ball to move on to 19 off 71 balls.

Grit and patience from the South African opener.

  17. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:37 BST 9 September

    Tribe lbw Barnard 27 (Glam 69 & 41-2 v Warks 391)

Warwickshire captain Ed Barnard comes in for his second over and removes Asa Tribe, who plays around a straight one and is leg-before.

There are another 29 overs scheduled after this one as Ben Kellaway comes out to bat at number four.

  18. Hampshire avoid the follow-onpublished at 16:37 BST 9 September

    Notts 377 v Hampshire 230-6

Jake Lehmann is on 95 and his innings is a big reason why Hampshire have safely passed the follow-on mark with room to spare.

Scott Currie has done a cracking job alongside Lehmann - he's faced 100 balls and allowed his team-mate to keep the scoreboard ticking.

  19. Latest from New Roadpublished at 16:36 BST 9 September

    Worcs 200 v Northants 250-8

It's a bit of a crawl now for Northants, but they have at least secured their first batting point - and they are all important when you're trying to win promotion.

Lewis McManus is eight not out and Harry Conway has two - a new ball will be available for Worcestershire in three and a bit overs.

  20. Second batting point for Sussexpublished at 16:35 BST 9 September

    Sussex 303-6 v Surrey

Dan Worrall's second ball of his latest spell goes awry down the leg side and Jack Carson taps it away fine for four.

A single off the fifth ball.

Matt Fisher takes the new cherry at the Cromwell Road End and Carson is squared up defending into the off side.

He misses with a flick to a wide ball down the leg side and then connects with a deft cut through cover for four to bring up the Sussex 300 in the 82nd over.
