50 for Waitepublished at 16:05 BST 13 June

    Worcs 146-5 v Middx 339

Shortly after being struck by a short delivery from Eathan Bosch, Matthew Waite completes his 50 with a lovely cover drive. It continues his good championship form having scored 77 and 47 not out in the last match at Southport.

Before the mishap Waite had been the only Worcestershire batter apart from Gareth Roderick to have played with any fluency.

He's shared in a stand of 76 so far with Ethan Brookes as the home side try to get back into the match.

  2. Five-wicket haul for Aldridgepublished at 16:05 BST 13 June

    Durham 377 v Derbysire 118- follow-on enforced

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

About an hour ago we were bemoaning the fact tea wasn't likey to come until about 4.15pm. It actually ended up being just 10 minutes late after Kasey Aldridge ran through Derbyshire to finish with his best figures for Durham.

He took 5-19 in 5.4, overs as they were dismissed for just 118 to trail Durham by 259 and will have to bat again after the follow-on was enforced. The innings lasted just 29.4 overs.

Aldridge's spell of wickets began when he got Caleb Jewell LBW for 31. He was lucky because the ball looked to be outside of off stump. But Jewell, like many others, was walking down the track at the time to try and negate low bounce.

Brooke Guest and Nick Potts then edged the bowler to Ben McKinney at second slip, before Martin Andersson dragged him onto his middle stump, also on walkabout.

Shoaib Bashir was then bowled for a sixth-ball duck before Ben Aitchison was caught in the gully. Derbyshire slipped from 88-4 to 118 all out in less than eight overs. It was rather shambolic.

  3. 6 runs

for Barnardpublished at 16:04 BST 13 June

    Warwickshire 120-4 v Yorkshire 469

Yorkshire cleared the boundary six times during their innings now Ed Barnard has got Warwickshire's first six pulling George Hill over mid wicket.

  4. Postpublished at 16:04 BST 13 June

    Notts 169-6 v Somerset 310

Archie Vaughan is going to bowl his first over of the game and the final over before tea at Trent Bridge.

  5. Tea at Stanley Parkpublished at 16:02 BST 13 June

    Lancs 87 v Kent 178 & 143-2

There is no doubt about it. That has been Kent's session and this has very much been Kent's day so far.

After bowling out Lancashire for just 87 this morning, the visitors have moved to 143-2 and racked up a lead of 234 runs.

Harry Finch has a half-century and is 69 not out, while Daniel Bell-Drummond is going along nicely at 34*.

We all know what happened after tea yesterday though, as Kent somewhat collapsed.

Lancashire will desperately be hoping the same happens again to have any sort of chance of staying in this match.

  6. Postpublished at 15:58 BST 13 June

    Lancs 87 v Kent 178 & 138-2

Kent continue to tick along nicely as Harry Finch tickles one round the corner off George Balderson and away for four to long leg.

Finch is now on 66 and the lead for Kent is 229.

  7. 50 runs

50 for Rob Yatespublished at 15:57 BST 13 June

    Warwickshire 100-4 Yorkshire 469

Rob Yates survives an lbw shout as the umpire rules he got bat on ball. That allows him to run the single to complete his 50.

He's played many innings more pleasing on the eye than this one but it's been an admirable, battling effort in adversity.

His 50 took 132 balls as he watched four partners come and go.

He's still got a lot of work to do if Warwickshire are to avoid a heavy first innings deficit.

  8. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:56 BST 13 June

    Carson b Kellaway 46 (Sussex 403-7 v Glamorgan 155)

Jack Carson tries to cut fellow 'office' Ben Kellaway but a little bit of turn means there isn't room for the shot and he chops on.

Carson fall short of 50 but put on 114 with James Coles, who is 132 not out as Dom Goodman comes out to bat, having been brought into the game as a replacement for England-bound Henry Crocombe.

  9. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:54 BST 13 June

    Cox lbw b Thain 8 (Leics 101-6 v Essex 401)

Two maidens in a row for Simon Harmer as the pressure continues to build on Leics. And there is a shout for lbw against Ben Cox thrown in. It was close but not out.

And it is Noah Thain who benefits with Cox leaving one and getting on the wrong end of an lbw decision.

The Leics man offers no stroke nudging his pad towards the ball but it jags back ferociously and the finger goes up. There is no doubt that that came back plenty but Cox can't quite believe the impact was not outside the line.

Some sympathy with the batter there.

  10. Five-wicket haul for Aldridgepublished at 15:53 BST 13 June

    Aitchison c Lees b Aldridge 7 (Durham 377 v Derbyshire 118)

    Kasey AldridgeImage source, Getty Images

No batting heroics from Ben Aitchison in this match as a loose shot sees one hand come off the bat handle and the ball end up in the hands of Alex Lees at gully.

Kasey Aldridge takes five wickets in an innings for the fifth time - his final figures are 5-19 from 5.4 overs.

Tea will now be taken. Surely the follow-on decision is a formality?

  11. Postpublished at 15:51 BST 13 June

    Notts 158-6 v Somerset 310

Jack Haynes plays a lovely back foot cover drive off Alfie Ogborne and it races away for four.

Five runs in total from the 51st over of the Notts first innings.

Somerset still lead by 152 runs.

  12. 100 partnership for Sussexpublished at 15:49 BST 13 June

    Sussex 391-6 v Glamorgan 155

    He's at it again.

Another handsome shot from James Coles clears the rope at long-on off Ben Kellaway as he and Jack Carson post a century stand from 123 balls.

    The lead is now 236.

  13. 150 runs

150 up for Nottspublished at 15:49 BST 13 June

    Notts 153-6 v Somerset 310

Fergus O'Neill pulls away to the mid-wicekt boundary from Craig Overton for four. Right out of the middle of the bat.

He then nudges for a quick single into the offside.

Nottinghamshire pass 150. Perhaps signs of building blocks for Notts if they can keep Jack Haynes (34*) and O'Neill (16*) at the crease.

  14. 6 runs

for Finchpublished at 15:47 BST 13 June

    Lancs 87 v Kent 178 & 127-2

Harry Finch is just growing in confidence.

He comes down the track to Liam Livingstone and launches one high over long on for six.

Finch moves to 62 and comfortably has the top score in this match now.

  15. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:46 BST 13 June

    Bashir b Raine 0 (Durham 377 v Derbys 112-9)

It's a procession at the Riverside.

Shoaib Bashir can do nothing with a ball from Ben Raine which keeps low and his off stump assumes a horizontal position.

Derbyshire have lost their last four wickets for 20 runs in 5.2 overs.

  16. 6 runs

Postpublished at 15:45 BST 13 June

    Sussex 383-6 v Glamorgan 155

You have to say that is magnificent.

James Coles is down the pitch and goes straight as an arrow (to quote an old Ronnie Barker TV theme tune) down the ground off Ben Kellaway for six - the third of his innings.

In the next over, Coles crashes Mason Crane twice through the covers for four and he is now 122 not out.

  17. ouch!

Waite felled by Boschpublished at 15:45 BST 13 June

    Worcs 138-5 v Middx 339

Matthew Waite, who has batted with fluency, falls to the ground after being hit by a short delivery from Eathan Bosch.

Waite is on his feet quickly before undergoing checks from the physio.

    He's cleared to carry on.

  18. Postpublished at 15:44 BST 13 June

    Lancs 87 v Kent 178 & 120-2

George Balderson finds the edge of Harry Finch's bat but it's a thick one and played with soft hands by Finch as it runs away for four more to the third man boundary.

It's all very frustrating for Lancashire at the moment as they now trail Kent by 211 runs but still need eight wickets.

  19. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:43 BST 13 June

    Evison b Harmer 1 (Leics 88-5 v Essex 401)

Big turn to go with the variable bounce on display earlier suggests firstly that batting is not easy on this and secondly that Leics are in a tight spot now.

Simon Harmer sends that down on a line a couple of stumps outside off, Joey Evison reaches for a sweep to square leg (no, not sure why either) and it spins sharply to clip the bails.

  20. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:42 BST 13 June

    Andersson b Aldridge 19 (Durham 377 v Derbys 155)

One or two of these Derbyshire batsmen have rather gifted their wickets away.

Martin Andersson swings across the line at a ball from Kasey Aldridge, but plays fractionally too early and under-edges into his stumps.

Aldridge now has 4-13 in this spell.
