Get Involvedpublished at 15:40 BST 13 June

Lancashire collapsing like the usual pack of ineffective cards. Kent in their second innings look to be playing on a different pitch, so comfortable are they. Sadly my beloved club of over 50 years is rotten to the core. The board should resign en masse.

Simon, Sale - but currently despondent in Blackpool

    Webster c Bess b White 1 (Warwickshire 92-4 v Yorkshire 469)

Beau Webster does what Sam Hain did and flicks one from Jack White onto the leg side.

Dom Bess holds a diving catch.

There's a spring in the step of the Yorkshire players in the field.

  3. 50 runs

50 for Harry Finchpublished at 15:37 BST 13 June

    Lancs 87 v Kent 178 & 114-2

This could be a very important innings for Kent by Harry Finch.

He turns Jimmy Anderson away for four on the legside and goes to his half-century.

Finch is now the second top scorer in the match, behind Ben Dawkins' 54 in the first innings.

He's just three runs away from surpassing Dawkins.

  4. Postpublished at 15:37 BST 13 June

    Sussex 364-6 v Glamorgan 155

The lead is now over 200 as James Coles seizes on a short one from Ryan Hadley and pulls it emphatically for four.

The Australian paceman seems to be labouring a bit at the moment and Jack Carson drives a no-ball to the mid-on boundary later in the over as he moves to 28 not out.

  5. Postpublished at 15:35 BST 13 June

    Notts 137-6 v Somerset 310

Jack Haynes flicks one around the corner and very fine on the legside from Migael Pretorius and that runs all the way for four.

Haynes then picks up another single to the cover boundary fielder to move to 30.

Fergus O'Neill is just finding his feet at the other end with four from 18 balls.

  6. wicket

    Potts c McKinney b Aldridge 9 (Durham 377 v Derbys 108-7)

This is a better catch by Ben McKinney, taking it next to his right boot at second slip. Three wickets in this spell now for Kasey Aldridge, as he sends Nick Potts on his way.

  7. Postpublished at 15:32 BST 13 June

    Lancs 87 v Kent 178 & 107-2

Crunching shot from Daniel Bell-Drummond as Jimmy Anderson bangs one in short and Bell-Drummond smashes a pull shot through mid-wicket for four.

Lancashire are in desperate need of some quick wickets, in similar fashion to how they found them at about this stage of Kent's first innings.

  8. Women's One-Day Cup updatepublished at 15:32 BST 13 June

Group leaders The Blaze lost a couple of early wickets at Beckenham but are 76-2 after 16 overs, chasing a target of 253 against Surrey.

Durham's Trudy Johnson has taken three wickets to help reduce Essex to 92-4 in the 20th over, needing another 200 to win.

Anika Learoyd is 52 not out for Somerset, who are 129-1 after 23 overs after Hampshire piled up 303-7.

Openers Emma Lamb and Eve Jones are still together for Lancashire, who are 88-0 after 19 overs in reply to Warwickshire's 314-7.

  9. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:27 BST 13 June

    Hain c Whiteman b White 27 (Warwickshire 86-3 Yorkshire 469)

Sam Hain never looked comfortable and he flicks Jack White straight to Sam Whiteman at mid wicket to go for 27.

    Warwickshire still under heavy pressure.

  10. 100 runs

100 up for Kentpublished at 15:27 BST 13 June

    Lancs 87 v Kent 178 & 102-2

This is a confident shot from Harry Finch.

He gets down and plays the reverse sweep from Liam Livingstone and it flies away for four. The next ball finds the bottom edge of Finch's bat and Kent run three more to pass the 100 mark in this innings.

Given the context of this match, Kent are going along nicely.

It has been a low-scoring affair so far and a lead of 193 is a hefty one with eight wickets to spare.

  11. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:25 BST 13 June

    Guest c McKinney b Aldridge 4 (Durham 377 v Derbys 92-6)

Looks like we may be heading for follow-on central at the Riverside.

Brooke Guest dangles the bat and it's catching practice for Ben McKinney at second slip.

Kasey Aldridge has 2-6 from his three overs so far.

  12. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:25 BST 13 June

    Gumbs c Walter b Harmer 21 (Leics 72-4 v Essex 401)

A long and almost promising innings comes to an end with an edge flying low to Paul Walter at slip.

Gumbs took 79 balls to reach 21 and while there is no doubt he can hit out in the right circumstances (he was 79 not out in a T20 last time out) there is a balance to be struck.

For a first class debut though this was not a failure by any stretch just a few more shots might be beneficial next time.

  13. Pig invades field at Scarboroughpublished at 15:24 BST 13 June

    Warwickshire 85-2 Yorkshire 469

While the umpires hold up play to replace the match ball someone in a pig outfit is chased across the outfield by a butcher.

They know how to enjoy themselves at Scarborough.

  14. Postpublished at 15:21 BST 13 June

    Lancs 87 v Kent 178 & 95-2

Can Liam Livingstone repeat the magic of his first innings bowling in which he took 5-55?

    Lancashire certainly need something.

His first over goes for five, including a four through mid-wicket for Daniel Bell-Drummond, who moves onto 17.

Harry Finch is 10 shy of a half-century.

  15. 100 runs

for James Colespublished at 15:20 BST 13 June

    Sussex 343-6 v Glamorgan 155

Four Championship hundreds in 2025 and there is James Coles' first of this season.

He hits Ryan Hadley straight back down the ground for four to reach three figures off 133 balls and in truth, hasn't looked in much trouble since the start of his innings.

A quality knock and the Sussex lead is now 188.

  16. Postpublished at 15:17 BST 13 June

    Notts 122-6 v Somerset 310

A second bowling point in the bag for Somerset after taking their sixth wicket and they now have four bonus points in the match to Nottinghamshire's three.

  17. Yates battling at Scarboroughpublished at 15:16 BST 13 June

    Warwickshire 80-2 v Yorkshire 469

Rob Yates produces possibly the shot of the innings so far as he cover drives Ben Cliff for four.

It hasn't always been that fluent from the Bears opener but he's battled on as his team face a formidable task.

It's looked even more of a struggle for Sam Hain but he now manages a boundary through the covers off Matthew Revis. The pair have put on 42 now.

  18. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:14 BST 13 June

    Patterson-White b Leach 29 (Notts 122-6 v Somerset 310)

Liam Patterson-White has scored relatively quickly for Nottinghamshire but his afternoon with the bat is over.

It's outside off stump from Jack Leach but Patterson-White chops on to go for 29 from 43 balls.

The defending champions are in a spot of bother, trailing Somerset by 188 runs with just four wickets in hand.

  19. Postpublished at 15:13 BST 13 June

    Leics 63-3 v Essex 401

Nick Kelly gets in a tangle half hooking and half pulling out of a shot as Charlie Bennett bangs one in short.

The result is a half shot which loops up towards midwicket but falls short which is a lucky escape.

Next ball Bennett fires one through which Kelly plays at and misses.

  20. Postpublished at 15:13 BST 13 June

    Lancs 87 v Kent 178 & 87-2

Kent's second innings score has now matched Lancashire's entire first innings total.
