Boxing - men's 60kg
Wales boxer Owain Harris-Allan will leave Glasgow with the second Commonwealth bronze medal of his career after falling to a unanimous 5-0 defeat to India's Sachin in Friday's semi-finals.
The 22-year-old, who also took bronze in Birmingham in 2022, was aiming to become the third Welsh fighter to reach Saturday's finals.
"He's a top-quality operator, in the top five in the world and he's there was a reason," Harris-Allan conceded in his post-fight interview with broadcaster TNT Sports.
"It just wasn't my day. Obviously I am gutted that I didn't win a gold medal but we learn from this and see what happens in the future now."
Wales' Orlando Holley-Sotomi (men's 70kg) and Connor Williams (men's +90kg) both made Saturday's finals, while Harris-Allan's team-mate Rosie Eccles (women's 70kg) lost her semi-final.

Lindon Victor does enough! He's a three-time Commonwealth Games champion - matching Daley Thompson's record.
HIs 8096 points is 60 more than Damian Warner's in second. The Canadian takes silver, while India's Tejaswin Shankar beats England's Sammy Ball to the bronze by 83 points.

New Zealand's Max Atwell is first over the finish line, followed by England's Lewis Church and Sammy Ball.
But that's likely not good enough for bronze from Ball. India's Tejaswin Shankar wasn't too far behind.

Lilian Odira is likely to be the biggest challenger to Georgia Hunter Bell's hopes of a gold medal.
Despite running a personal best time of 1:54.90 at last year's World Championships in Tokyo, Hunter-Bell was pipped to the top of the podium by the Kenyan.

The 26-year-old ran the second fastest ever indoor 800m by a female British athlete as she clocked one minute 57.43 seconds earlier this year.

Georgia Hunter-Bell has established herself at the top of a sport from which she took a five-year break before returning in 2022.
During that break, she had been working in tech sales - often commuting to Glasgow to meet clients.
Since then she has won Olympic bronze, world silver and now she's back in the same city as one of the favourites to win Commonwealth Games gold in the 800m.
