Will Perrett of Wales is 16th to be eliminated and looks to be fuming.

William Roberts of Wales finishes 18th after being boxed in on the inside.

Matti Dobbins of Northern Ireland is the fourth of the 23 riders to be eliminated.

I've made the trip a few stops down the train line from the SEC where boxing, judo and bowls are held to Scotstoun for the athletics. England's world silver medalist Georgia Hunter Bell in the 800m is probably the star attraction tonight.

There's also the javelin competition which includes two stars of the international stage - Neeraj Chopra of India and Pakistan's Arshad Nadeem.

What an incredible ride from England's Harry Ledingham-Horn in this stellar field to take third on the line ahead of defending champion Nicholas Paul of Trinidad & Tobago.

There's no Molly Caudery in the women's pole vault final today.

Caudery, a silver medallist in Birmingham in 2022, was ruled out for the rest of the season in June after undergoing emergency spinal surgery.

That means England's hopes in the event rest on 21-year-old Gemma Tutton, who is competing in her first Common Wealth Games.

She's just gone clear of 4.10m.

England judokas Lele Nairne (-57kg) and Tatum Keen (-52kg) both won bronze medals this evening.

The pair are also both from Bradley Stoke Judo Club in Bristol.

Nairne said: "Epic, right? We're a different club, we encourage individual judo. We're all big throwers, we're all about throwing in Bristol."

Pete Mitchell of Scotland finishes in 8th, England's Harry Radford 9th and Jonah Jenkins of Wales in 10th.

The final is next - that should be a bun-fight between four or five of them, with England's Harry Ledingham-Horn in the mix too.
