No mistake from the skipper, Jarrod Bowen sending Jose Sa the wrong way and finding the corner,

    His seventh goal against Wolves.

The Hammers missed one in their last home game, a defeat, is this the night their season really starts?

  2. Kamara really wanted penalty kickpublished at 20:28 BST 1 September

    Portsmouth 0-1 Derby

    Dan George
BBC Sport England at Fratton Park

Abu Kamara really wanted a penalty there.

He was kneeling on the pitch with his hands on his hips for a good few moments after referee Sam Allison refused to award a spot kick.

He did look to be bundled to the floor, but play was quickly moved on.

  3. PENALTY TO WEST HAMpublished at 20:27 BST 1 September

    West Ham 1-0 Wolves

Joel Piroe goes down in the box after a mazy run and the Hammers have a penalty, which looks a little soft on first viewing.

  4. Postpublished at 20:27 BST 1 September

    Sheff Utd 1-1 Bolton

Brentford loanee Romelle Donovan hits a low shot that flies just past the post for the home side.

  5. 'West Ham are bossing this all of a sudden'published at 20:26 BST 1 September

    West Ham 1-0 Wolves

    Nick Godwin
    BBC Radio London commentator

This is place was quiet as a mouse before the goal.

West Ham are bossing this all of a sudden.

  6. Postpublished at 20:26 BST 1 September

    Stoke 1-0 Norwich

Another long-range effort from Stoke, this time from Eric Bocat, but his left-footed effort from 25 yards flies past the base of Vlad Kovacevic's post.

  7. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 20:24 BST 1 September

    Portsmouth 0-1 Derby

Portsmouth are doing their best to get back into this game, but are not getting the breaks at present.

Abu Kamara goes down in the Derby box looking for a penalty, but referee Sam Allison waves away his appeal.

  8. Hornets hanging on in therepublished at 20:23 BST 1 September

    Swansea 2-0 Watford

    Gareth Vincent
BBC Sport Wales at the Swansea.com Stadium

Vitor Matos slips and almost loses his footing as he tries to catch the ball as it bounces out for a throw.

That's just about the only thing that has gone wrong for the Swansea head coach so far this evening, for his team have been excellent.

Watford are having to hang in there hoping that they can find a goal to turn the tide of the contest.

  9. 'Stansfield should have had two'published at 20:21 BST 1 September

    Birmingham 0-0 Southampton

    Richard Wilford
    BBC Radio WM commentator

That was so close to Jay Stansfield getting his first goal of the season. He hit it low and true but it's come off the post.

    He's unlucky there.

Blues are trying to get on the front foot here, that's for sure. Stansfield should have had two.

    Divine Mukasa (33 mins)

    DIVINE INTERVENTION.

This is West Ham's first shot of the match and new arrival Divine Mukasa has entered the Tony Yeboah Hall of Fame.

He picks the ball up a good seven yards outside the Wolves box and lashes a right-footed effort into the top corner, via a kiss off the underside of the crossbar.

    No chance for Jose Sa.

    Magnificent.

  11. 'The most positive I've seen Mane'published at 20:20 BST 1 September

    West Ham 0-0 Wolves

    David Kelly
Former Wolves and West Ham striker on BBC Radio WM

This is the most positive I've seen Mane. He's obviously got a thing where he thinks he can get in behind the full-back.

Good on him for his positivity.

  12. Swans heading top?published at 20:20 BST 1 September

    Swansea 2-0 Watford

Adam Idah set up Eom Ji-Sung for Swansea's opening goal and the South Korean returned the favour for the hosts' second.

Both sides came into this match unbeaten, but Watford have a job on their hands here to leave south Wales with that record in tact.

The Swans, meanwhile, are heading top, as things stand.

  13. Postpublished at 20:19 BST 1 September

    Lincoln 0-0 Blackburn

Just starting to open up a little bit at Sincil Bank.

Freddie Draper can't direct an Adam Reach cross on target for the home side and then Dapo Afolayan has a shot blocked for the visitors.

  14. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:19 BST 1 September

    Birmingham 0-0 Southampton

    Saints living dangerously.

Jay Stansfield is able to pounce on some slack defending and fire a low shot in from the edge of the box which cannons back off the left post.

Moments later Alex Cochrane wins possession bravely on the left and crossed brilliantly for Stansfield who somehow heads wide of target from a couple of yards out.

  15. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:18 BST 1 September

    West Ham 0-0 Wolves

Wolves have hit the same piece of crossbar twice in quick succession.

First Raul Jimenez bounces a volley from a corner into the ground from 15 yards out, over Mads Hermansen and onto the bar.

Then from another deep cross, Kyle Walker-Peters misses the ball and Mateus Mane is able to whip a deflected, angled shot into the same spot of the bar.

GOAL: Swansea 2-0 Watfordpublished at 20:14 BST 1 September

    Adam Idah (29 mins)

Adam Idah celebrates scoring Swansea's second goal against WatfordImage source, PA Media

This is all about the pass from Eom Ji-Sung.

The South Korean midfielder comes inside from the left wing before threading Adam Idah through, in behind the Watford defence, with a no-look, reverse pass.

Idah holds his nerve to slide the ball past Watford goalkeeper Federico Ravaglia to double Swansea's lead.

  18. Postpublished at 20:14 BST 1 September

    Lincoln 0-0 Blackburn

Approaching the 30-minute mark in this one and no shots on target as yet.

Lincoln not too bothered about possession statistics but, for those interested, the away team have had about 70% of the ball tonight.

  19. goal

GOAL: Stoke 1-0 Norwichpublished at 20:14 BST 1 September

    Ethan Galbraith (13 mins)

The glom lifts around the Bet365, for now.

The Potters pile forward but a low cross from the left is half-cleared to the onrushing Ethan Galbraith, nearly 30 yards out.

He unleashes a pea-roller first time which nicks off a defender on its way into the bottom right corner to send the home crowd wild.

Seven straight defeats, but does that run end tonight?
